Lightcatcher - Season 1 (2018)

Lo sits in the holodeck cut off from rest of humankind, sensing the cataclysm of man's unknowing destruction of the planet; A stranger wanders alone, tracking a monster; and Dali seeks refuge with his family as invaders move to occupy the forest.

We see Dr. Elias Hano, father of the unlimited particle, at the height of his meteoric rise during the push for complete renewable energy. His contagious optimism is starkly contrasted with the resulting global impact of his work - a frozen world. In the future, the strange wanderer follows monster tracks to an ominous landmark. Meanwhile, a rock climber named Marlon discovers a mysterious source of interference deep within a mountain.

Dali now a young man working for Hano Industries, diverts a mission flight path in order to investigate an area of the Borneo jungle he believes could contain his former childhood home. The terrain has evolved since he was a child and he must face his fears in order to find his way home. Lo relaxes in a neon holographic beach on board Hano Station. A strange message intercepts her hologram and manipulates the world around her. A mysterious hacker group reveals to Lo that there are secrets from her past she must remember.
