Father Markus is the maritime museum's new night-watch. While he feels asleep on the job, a robber steals only an old ship lamp. Director Gustav suspects the mayoress whose town claims that very lamp. While the police concentrates on her, team Robbe realizes she's set up and suspects the lurking municipal groundsman and finds him in league with a surprising mastermind.

Markus started his new job as bank branch cleaner, but ends up taken hostage by three masked amateur robbers. The police assigns nice constable Tim to mind 'victim's son' Robbe, so he must go the some trouble to escape long enough to search with Kosmo where his pa was taken. Worse, he gets caught himself, but not the bionic dog.

Markus Williams took up squash, but looses constantly from the local painter, who runs the business with his son but is short for clients. Robbe's team gets wind of cases of blackmail but threatening to ruin owners' houses by gross graffiti. So he and Kosmoo set a trap, but it's not clear who exactly does what as the caught vandal proves not the blackmailer.

Markus bought an 'accidentally offered' painting in the flea market and refuses to sell it back for double the price, although it's horrible modern junk which none of the family won't tolerate in sight. Even Kosmo runs from it, yet he decides to try his hand at modern painting. At night, robbers intrude the boat and steal nothing else. Kosmo's video shows a bank safe key fell out of it, so team Robbe use it. They find the last will rhyming treasure map of a gold robber, whose two cahoots watch from a distance. Kosmo and the kids work out the clues to the fort ruins ...

Having forgotten his special fifteenth anniversary promise, Markus rushes to organize vows renewal the next day. When team Robbe attends the unveiling of the statue portrait for the town square, it is decapitated. They doubts the police's only suspect, old Joris whose kiosk was to be removed to make room for the statue, which has his fingerprints while the severed head is found in his garden. Robbe and Kosmo must track down and deal with the masked real culprit, alas a scary motor gang member, and his boss.

The Williams family hosts exchange student Tatjana from Kirgizia. Only later Robbe learns she's followed by two men because she's the daughter of their PM, and the target of kidnappers, which Kosmo must help defeat.

Zeezicht town suffers an epidemic of seafood restaurant food poisoning cases. Robbe pretends to be on a school assignment to snoop around at the 'fish mine' (auction). Thanks to Kosmo's nose, they trail employee Frank who fiddles with deliveries, but the fiend won't stop at produce tampering, although his motive is pointless.

Robbe and Ellis prepare a school presentation on aliens. They consult her friend, believer Remco Franke. When the knave goes missing next day, they suspect he's off seeking aliens and check his room for clues. Indeed he used his special crystal to lure some from a high point, but fell in the ruin and got stuck under a collapsed beam. Robbe's pa Marcus, who studies to become town guide, knows that's the old lighthouse.
