Jeroen Donders and Suzanne Bruner visit her boss Mike van Gunteren and his wife Sasja van Gunteren-Prins and discover as a young family that the family process can alienate and estrange man and wife in their roles as parents. Mike and Sasja have teenagers. Jeroen and Suzanne still have small kids. They decide to the take the lesson so that they don't lose each other as lovers while raising their kids as responsible parents.

Jeroen Donders is invited by his old school friend Ruud Verstappen to participate in his fast growing real estate construction firm. Jeroen goes along, takes a big risk, but on the moment of final commitment he discovers Ruud is involved in criminal activities. Jeroen tries to pull out without repercussions.
