Kommissar Rex - Season 4 (1998)

Serial killer kills women in Vienna every night shooting them in the head with a revolver and leaves dominoes on their bodies.

After Richard Moser was killed by a mental patient who also killed himself after looking into Rex 's sad eyes in the last episode. He is replaced by Alex Brandtner, but Rex is desperate, refuses to eat and wants to be near Moser 's house. Alex decides to help him.

Bank and supermarket robber changing his outfit every time and nobody knows how he looks. He takes hostages in Zoo and Rex has to save the day.

Three businessmen make agreement to murder a man and make it look like suicide. Rex has to stop the train to save a life.

A birthday party is interrupted by a phone call. A murder on a container site. It poses many mysteries to Inspector Brandtner. All prime suspects have airtight alibi.

A young woman is found dying on the outskirts of Vienna. She worked as a babysitter and cared for a three-week-old baby.

A criminal that Brandtner had sent to jail finishes his sentence and seeks revenge against Brandtner by dognapping Rex.

A lurcher photographed a woman being murdered. He then starts to blackmail the murderer, who in turn tries to kill him.

A popular tennis teacher is stabbed to death in an exclusive tennis club. There seems to be no motive for the act. Later the managing director of the club dies in a similar way.

Because there is a bomb hidden in a residential area, Brandtner goes undercover in prison, in order to get at the bombmaker and blackmailer Zach.
