Kelly Monteith - Season 6 (1984)

Kelly's producer is unhappy with all the swearing in the latest episode of his sitcom. Meanwhile, two supporting actors are confused as to the "show within a show" aspect of the series, and another can't remember his lines.

Kelly, his producer and his co-writer are all filled with dread when a documentary about their show is about to be screened on television - and the results are far from flattering.

Kelly's producer has brought conflict into his sitcom by introducing an ex-boyfriend for Alexandra, and a punk girlfriend for Kelly. However, Kelly finds it all unnecessary and over the top, and the behind-the-scenes ructions are a strain.
