Human Target - Season 1 (1992)

When Libby goes out with an ex who is a fashion designer, someone tries to run him over. Both Chris and the guy think it's an accident but Libby asks Chris if they can keep an eye on him. So they go to his office and that's when someone tries to kill him. So Chris assumes his identity and learns that some of his employees don't think highly of him.

Chance is hired to take the place of a psychiatrist who believes one of his patients is trying to kill him, however, a clairvoyant youth who is one of the man's patients suspects another.

Painful memories from Vietnam are dredged up by Chance when he brakes into prison to take the place of an man convicted of murder and clear him before the victim's brother has him killed.

When an attempt is made on the life of a judge who is a good friend of Chris' father, Chris goes to help him. Chris assumes his identity and learns that a prosecutor might have something to do with it. He also runs into his father, who doesn't know what he does and whom he has been estranged from for years.

While posing her cameraman, Chance finds himself falling for a TV journalist whose life is being threatened by a paramilitary religious group she has been attempting to expose.
