When the partnership between Ellis and Maya reaches a boiling point, Marty devises a plan that Jeannie opposes. Clyde develops feelings for Kelsey as they seek investors for their start-up.

Marty and the Pod hatch a new plan with Gage motors; Jeannie considers an attractive job offer.

Difficulties arise for Kaan and Associates when payment is not received from a consult. Plus, Clyde gets a visit from his estranged father, Marty learns of Roscoe's entrepreneurial endeavors, and Jeannie pushes back to stay.

Marty and Jeannie entice Denna with a retaliatory business move against Ellis. Things get complicated between Doug and Kelsey. Clyde spends time with his father and is disturbed to see how similar they may be.

Marty butts heads with a turnaround artist sent by Denna to grow K&A's business. Jeannie has mixed feelings about a dinner invite to the Kaan home. Clyde's father pushes him to the breaking point.

Marty pitches the CEO of a fast food chain, bringing him into conflict with Denna. Roscoe's business is exposed, hurting his status and future at school. Doug and Clyde have different reactions to being involved with the same woman.
