Christian returns to town to house hunt and asks Tori to accompany him. Agent Susie McAllister shows them a property but they don't think it's child friendly. Justin unsettles them by suggesting Christian move in with them. Justin offers Ziggy a shoulder to cry on over her relationship worries. He later suffers further back twinges and goes back to hospital, where he, Leah and Tori wait for news of the scans. Susie runs into John several times and suggests they have dinner together. John is stunned when Irene suggests it's a date.

Jasmine and Lewis discuss Colby being sent back to the prison infirmary and Christian. Lewis later reveals he has got the agency to transfer him to Northern Districts. John is nervous during his date with Susie and ends up calling Irene to join them. Susie later tells him that next time she wants it to be just them. Scans show Justin's tumour hasn't regrown and he has just pulled a muscle. Tori and Christian discuss him moving in and end up deciding to get married instead, sharing the news with Leah and Justin.

Jasmine and Lewis run into John and Susie on their way to work. John later gives Susie a tour but gets accosted by Alf about neglecting sending out the AGM schedule. Justin worries Tori and Christian are rushing into getting married, leaving Leah telling Irene and Marilyn that she thinks Justin cares more about marriage than her and accusing him of not valuing what they have. Lewis tells Jasmine he thinks Christian is dangerous and checks on one of his patients, Tom Wilson, who suffered a head injury in a football game. Lewis explains Christian operated on Anna after ...

Jasmine tries to get Lewis to let it go with Christian, while Bella asks them for information on Colby. Tom dies post-op, leaving Lewis even more adamant that Christian's a danger to patients. Tori and Christian respectively talk to Leah and Justin, with Justin eventually convincing Leah that what he really wants is them to be committed to each other .Lewis reports Colby is out of the infirmary. Bella wants to visit him and, after a talk with John, Dean agrees to go with her. However, Martinez turns them away, saying Colby's in solitary confinement.

Ari convinces Mackenzie to take the day off and spend it with him. Martinez gives Dean a letter from Colby for Bella which he gives to her after she's reunited with Nikau. Colby tells her not to visit him but doesn't mention that he got into a fight with Joe and stabbed him. Ryder returns from his course to take charge of Salt and has a run-in with Chloe Anderson, who tries to buy a cocktail without ID. Nikau is in contact with her and tells Ari she's in town: She is Ari's stepdaughter. Mackenzie meets Dean to compare notes as Nikau brings Chloe for a reunion with Ari.

Ziggy and Tane run into each other on the beach. Tane is also reunited with Chloe and it transpires that, when Ari went to prison, her mother decided to have nothing to do with him and abruptly moved away with Chloe. Ari agrees Chloe can stay as long as she informs her mother. Ryder sees her with Nikau and learns who she is. Kieran is drinking in his van and avoiding Roo and Martha. He tries to order a vodka at Salt but when Ryder sees him he claims Mackenzie misheard, then has alcohol delivered to the caravan. Roo later confronts him about drinking. Ziggy has a dream...

Ari fills Mackenzie in on Chloe and her mother Mia. Mia turns up looking for Chloe and she and Ari have an awkward catch-up. Alf is sorting out the surf club AGM but doesn't think there's any chance of him not being re-elected president. Roo tells Martha her suspicions about Kieran. Martha questions him and he denies it but later Roo convinces her to search his caravan. However, they find nothing and are caught by Kieran. Tane challenges Ziggy to spend time at the gym with him. Mackenzie decides to stay at Ari's but he is distracted with Mia worrying about Chloe and ...

Kieran shows Roo and Martha all his things, then asks to speak to Martha in private and convinces her he's not drinking. Although they later share a family meal with Alf, once alone he tells Roo not to try and come between him and Martha again. Mackenzie tells Ziggy she knows about her and Tane. Nikau and Chloe return from their trip up the coast and Chloe refuses to go home with Mia, angry that she lied to her. Although he is sympathetic, Ari refuses to help Mia take Chloe away, saying she can stay as long as she wants.

Mackenzie briefly catches up with Dean and then Ari. Chloe convinces Alf to give Nikau the day off so he can show her round town and is introduced to Bella. They convince Mackenzie to give her a job at Salt after she beats Ryder in a cocktail making contest. Mia agrees to Chloe staying with Ari but says she's staying in town as well. Roo asks Irene's advice about Kieran and finds empty bottles under his caravan. She tells Alf he intimidated her, leaving him determined to get rid of Kieran. Bella sees a newspaper article about Colby being up on a second murder charge ...

Alf and Roo compare notes on Kieran. They try to convince Martha what happened but she is convinced Kieran is innocent. They later confront Kieran at the surf club, which ends with him trying to attack Alf and being restrained by Justin. They call Cooper, who reveals Kieran is already wanted for domestic violence, but Martha reveals he's left and blames Alf and Roo. Ryder commiserates Bella over Colby's charges. Jasmine also finds out and chats to Dean, who resolves to look after Bella, telling her what he told Colby and putting the flat lease in both their names. ...

Jasmine exercises on the beach before learning the gym is closed and Kieran has gone. She admits to Irene that she had a moment with Lewis and feels awkward about moving on. She and Lewis later talk and consider taking it slow. Alf is short with John about the surf club AGM and Susie convinces John to stand for president against him. Leah and Justin learn Salt can fit them in for the engagement party tomorrow and rope Irene and Marilyn in to help. Tori and Christian notice their odd secretive behaviour and Tori suspects Justin's tumour has returned.

Mackenzie finds Ziggy has Tane at the house again and is unhappy about keeping the relationship from Dean. Ziggy goes to talk to Dean but backs out of telling him, leaving him thinking they're getting back together. After spending a night hiding out at Tane's, Ziggy finally tells Dean there's someone else. Susie continues to encourage John's campaign for surf club presidency, including getting him to offer free juice bar drinks to anyone who takes campaign flyers. Tori and Christian continue to worry about Leah and Justin's secrecy. Justin eventually tells Christian ...

Justin and Leah prepare to welcome Tori and Christian at the party. Christian has to talk Tori into going up but she eventually has a good time, with Christian making a speech and Justin singing. Jasmine takes Grace for a walk and introduces her to Lewis, who learns he has the nurse unit manager job. Ziggy gets Mackenzie to talk to Dean; he is unhappy she knew about Ziggy and Tane but knows he has to accept it and gets through a first encounter with the couple. Christian is called into an emergency patient at the hospital but, knowing he had a sip of champagne, Lewis ...

Tori and Jasmine watch Justin and Leah at the party before Tori gets called in to sort out the dispute between Christian and Lewis. Since Lewis has already arranged another surgeon, Tori tells Christian to stand down but Christian is furious when the patient dies. Jasmine tells Tori about Lewis' wife dying after Christian operated on her but asks her not to say anything. Tori tells Lewis to come to her if he has a problem. Leah and Justin make plans to get a place together. Mackenzie tries to spend the evening with Ari but when Mia turns up looking for Chloe he ...

Susie is drilling John for the election campaign against Alf. They run into Leah and Justin, who discuss their house buying plans. Ari spends the day with Mia talking about their history, before arranging to go away with Mackenzie. Ryder is left to train Chloe on her first day but she refuses to follow his instructions and ends up walking out. Ari arranges for Mia to stay at the caravan park. Susie looks through papers at John's place and photographs them before going back to playing the devoted girlfriend when he comes home.

Bella is arranging to spend the day with Nikau but Chloe invites herself along. Bella asks Ryder to keep Chloe busy but she ignores him and ends up arguing with Bella. Nikau takes Chloe's side but Ryder pleads Bella's case, resulting in Chloe agreeing to hang out with him and Nikau spending time with Bella. Susie announces she's having to leave her rental so John asks her to move in with him. Martha is still blaming Alf and Roo for Kieran going and decides to go back to Merimbula. Alf and Roo try to talk her out of it and Roo seems to make headway, only for Martha to ...

Dean sees Ziggy and Tane together on the beach. He brushes off Ziggy's attempts to talk to him, telling her they're not mates, and also Bella's attempts to cheer him up. Martha tells Irene and Marilyn that Alf and Roo are holding her prisoner. Irene gets her to talk to the pair but she remains determined to go to Merimbula to find Kieran until Irene convinces her he might turn up there looking for her. Martha apparently encounters Kieran but Alf and Roo see her talking to thin air. Dean finds Willow outside his flat.

Dean walks away from Willow but she receives a warm reception from Irene and Marilyn. She explains she decided to come back on hearing of Colby's second murder charge. Bella refuses to have anything to do with her however and Dean has to step in when they have an altercation. Alf and Roo convince Martha to go see a counsellor at the hospital, unaware she is still seeing Kieran. Jasmine has a catch-up with Willow and Dean also clears the air with her. Willow then has a mysterious phone call.

Tane and Ziggy are at the house when Ari and Mackenzie return from holiday. Dean tells Willow about them being together and she gives Ziggy the cold shoulder. Amber turns up, having spoken to Willow, and promises Dean he will see Jai. Alf and Roo worry about Martha, who has been doing sketches of Kieran and was hoping to see him on the pier. Ari acts strange when Mia walks in on him and Mackenzie, letting her stay to do the washing. He tells Mackenzie he needs some space and she later sees him with Mia on the beach.

Ziggy and Tane are back at the house and Nikau gets Bella to check on Dean, learning about Amber being back. After a bit of pestering from Mackenzie, Dean eventually calls Amber, who says Jai is still up north but lets Dean speak to him on the phone. Leah and Justin get approved for a mortgage and Irene tells Leah she's suspicious of Susie. Ari invites Mia for a family barbecue but doesn't tell Mackenzie, who finds out when Mia comes in for drinks. Bella gets Ryder to keep Chloe away. Mackenzie sneaks in and overhears Ari telling Mia that he doesn't want to hurt her ...

Nikau asks Alf if he's seen Ryder and Chloe, who are carrying out a cocktail competition at the exercise with Marilyn as judge. Marilyn goes to see John and drunkenly advises him against standing for surf club president, then falls and injures her head and ankle. Ryder and Chloe argue when they hear what happened. Christian goes to check on her and Lewis bluntly reminds him to keep Marilyn in for observation. Alf takes Marilyn to see John next morning and Susie makes a point of letting them know she lives there now. Leah and Justin see Susie about houses but don't ...

Alf and Marilyn fill Roo in on Susie living with John. Roo meets her for the first time but sees nothing wrong. John and Susie organise a lunch for the surf club committee to garner support. Justin finally tells Tori he's moving out. Tori gets nowhere with Lewis and Jasmine tries to get him to tell Christian the whole story. Lewis ends up revealing it during an argument. Christian is upset that Tori knew. He remembers Anna Jobson but not Lewis or her surgery going wrong.

John and Susie charm the surf club committee with his plans to increase membership and improve equipment, despite Roo attending the dinner as Alf's proxy. They continue the lobbying during the vote while a dispirited Alf refuses to shake John's hand. Tori and Christian look up Anna and learn she was pregnant when she died. Christian apologises to Lewis for forgetting him, but says him staying wouldn't have made a difference and they need to learn to work together. Jasmine talks to Lewis, who is thrown that Christian isn't the person he thought he was. They share a ...

Willow catches up with Dean before checking in on Jasmine, who confides about the kiss with Lewis and persuades her to help out at the gym. Lewis and Jasmine decide to go on a date and she removes her wedding ring. Roo convinces Alf to go back for the count and he congratulates John on his win, although Susie quickly ushers John away. Marilyn accuses John of treating Alf badly and Susie again steps in. Amber and Jai turn up a week early and spend the day with Dean and Willow. Dean convinces them to stay the night at his flat.

Willow sets up a boot camp on the beach and gives Ziggy and Tane the cold shoulder. Ziggy is concerned that Amber is back in town, worrying Dean will be messed up again if she takes Jai away, so Tane gives her a warning. Amber is having trouble finding somewhere to stay so Dean suggests she and Jai take Colby's room. After they've both talked it over with Willow, Amber agrees and she and Dean go to get their stuff. Martha wants to be alone to see Kieran, not helped by Alf keeping an eye on her and Irene and Marilyn fussing over them. She arranges to use a caravan as ...

Ryder and Bella catch up with each other before she arranges to spend the evening with Nikau while Dean is away. However, both Ryder and Chloe turn up and spend the evening arguing. Martha continues to leave Kieran messages to meet her in the caravan. Chloe asks to have dinner with Ari, then invites Mia along and leaves them to it. Mia is uncomfortable as Ari talks about how he misses what they had. Ari goes round to see Mackenzie next morning, then tells Chloe that he's not giving up on Mia, while Mackenzie is left in tears.

Bella and Nikau decide to get Ryder and Chloe talking by making them team up in a pool game. When Ryder has to cover for Mackenzie at Salt, they decamp there instead but the pair refuse to talk. Ziggy and Tane find Mackenzie upset after Ari broke up with her. Mackenzie tells Ziggy she's pregnant and asks her to keep it quiet. She also tells Mia about the break-up, prompting her to go and see Ari. Leah and Justin are pleased with a house Susie shows them but Tori finds fault with it. Bella, Ryder, Nikau and Chloe are taken to a shipping container and left there overnight, with no-one expecting them home. Ari and Mia talk over the past and sleep together. Tori's criticism causes Justin to reverse his opinion of the house. However, after a talking to from Christian, she withdraws her objections and he and Leah decide to put an offer in. Tane, Ari, Mia, Alf and Roo begin to realise the youngsters are missing as the kidnappers turn out to be working for Paul and Leon. They call Ari and Tane with Nikau, demanding the brothers turn themselves over for ...

Nikau is returned to Bella, Ryder and Chloe. Ziggy and Mackenzie have also noticed the youngsters are missing. Ari admits the truth to Mia but Tane hides it from Ziggy, who doesn't find out until later. Ari and Tane make the rendezvous but Paul and Leon stall over releasing the hostages and it descends into a brawl. Nikau gets Ryder, Bella and Chloe to safety then goes back, passing Paul and finding Leon and the other thugs overpowered and ready to be handed over to the police. Mia takes Chloe away from Ari. Martha worries on hearing Ryder has been kidnapped, ...

Dean, Amber and Jai return to town and run into Roo, who is looking for Martha and gives them an update on Bella. Irene initially keeps the fact Martha is seeing Kieran quiet but eventually tells Alf and Roo. Martha still thinks Kieran is really there but is convinced to see a counsellor. Mackenzie confides in Dean about her pregnancy and break-up with Ari. After initially keeping his counsel, Dean misses taking Jai to school in order to try and convince Mackenzie to tell Ari. Amber sees him talking with Ziggy and reconsiders moving in.

Jasmine updates Willow before she and Lewis have a picnic together on their day off. Amber is determined to move out, believing Dean won't put Jai first. However, after a talk with Willow and having it pointed out how disruptive it will be to Jai, she changes her mind and sends him to pick Jai up from school. Leah and Justin wait on tenterhooks to hear about their house offer but eventually learn it's been accepted. Alf hears Martha has been admitted to hospital. Susie pressures John to get Alf to sign over control of the surf club finances to him, prompting an angry ...

Tori and Christian teach Grace to walk so she can be the flower girl at their wedding. Leah and Justin are hoping to exchange contracts but learn the bank has changed their mind about the loan. They ask Susie to stall. Marilyn is upset about being served divorce papers by Susie and Alf tears a strip off John, who clears the air with Marilyn. Lewis has an encounter with Christian and loses it when Christian continues to say Anna's death wasn't his fault. Jasmine invites him back to hers.

Dean runs into Mackenzie on the beach and tries to get her to talk to Ari, who he spends time with. Mia visits Ari to get Chloe's things but refuses to talk to him. Mackenzie gets Dean to drive her to a counsellor's appointment and considers telling Ari. Jasmine shoos Irene and Willow out of the house so she and Lewis can sleep together. Christian notices Marilyn being clumsy, leaving both of them worried her head injury was more serious than it appeared until Tori tells him to stop second guessing himself. Ari is run over by a car.

Nikau sees Paul behind the wheel of the car before he and Bella find Ari. He is rushed to hospital where Christian treats him for a bleed on the brain. Lewis warns them he isn't out of the woods. Tane gets a text from Paul taking responsibility and confronts him, dropping him off at the hospital and saying to call the police. Chloe and Mia join the others at the hospital. Dean takes Mackenzie but she leaves on seeing Mia at Ari's bedside. She confides in Amber. Dean thanks Amber for helping her and they share a moment.

Chloe decides to move back into the Paratas' without telling Mia, roping Ryder and Nikau in to help. They and Bella have a meal together and, despite sniping at him, Chloe thanks Ryder and kisses him. Ryder is left bewildered and Chloe is disappointed when he dismisses it the next day. Tane and Ziggy make up. Leah and Justin are unable to get a loan so will probably lose the house. Bella gives permission to use Colby's room and Jai queries why Amber is sharing with him instead of Dean, with Dean also querying Amber about where they stand. Roo tells Alf that Martha is ...

Alf, Roo, Marilyn and Ryder check out Martha's caravan and realise she has been keeping it for Kieran. Martha turns up at Irene's place and asks her to tell everyone she saw Kieran. After summoning Alf and Roo, Irene admits Kieran wasn't there and Martha agrees to return to the hospital. Leah and Justin accept they can't afford the house so Susie convinces them to take a loan from a private lending company to help with their deposit. She also inspires John to organise a surf competition to raise funds for renovations. Alf tells Martha once the doctors have assessed ...

John and Susie make plans for sponsorship for the surf competition, with Susie approaching Willow and a committee member named Larry, although she gets short shrift from Irene. Since Gerald is away, John suggests Susie set up a new account for the money. Leah and Justin give Susie the money for the house and she and Irene have a showdown. Willow and Ziggy bond after a gym session together. Despite Roo and Marilyn's misgivings, Alf takes Martha home against medical advice but her first trip to the Diner makes her uncomfortable. Ziggy resolves to sort things between Willow and Bella. She invites Bella over to help her with a photography competition then has Willow join them, but Bella is furious at being set up and leaves. Martha insists Kieran isn't real and fetches Alf and Roo. They find no sign of him, unaware he's watching from the trees, and Alf gets Martha to relax by painting. Susie tells John that Irene's in love with him but he suggests a dinner to smooth things over. Willow tells Irene what Susie said so she ends up going. Susie drugs a glass of wine for Irene, unaware she doesn't ...

Jasmine and Lewis mess about before work but things get tense at work when Lewis makes a snide comment to Christian and Tori accuses Jasmine of undermining him with Mia. Scans show no improvements in Ari's condition. Irene becomes ever more suspicious of John's illness and tells Marilyn she thinks Susie poisoned the wine. Alf and Roo find Martha is missing; she has been taken by Kieran, who demands money from her. Martha secretly calls Murray and Kieran is arrested. Martha decides she needs proper help. Christian tells Tori he's going to talk to Ari's family about ...

Nikau and Tane fill Mackenzie and Chloe in on the family conference. Lewis is about to give Ari an injection but hides the syringe when Mia comes back. Christian tells Nikau, Tane, Chloe and Mia of the plan to bring Ari off the ventilator. After several anxious minutes, he comes round, leaving Lewis confused. Justin is glued to his phone waiting for news of the house sale. Leah asks Alf to distract him and he ends up going surfing. Mackenzie tells Tane she can't visit Ari because she'd have to tell him she's pregnant.

Dean and Ziggy are summoned to talk things over with Mackenzie and Tane. Tane is initially in favour of Mackenzie telling Ari until he hears she's considering an abortion. He tells her and Ziggy that Ari and Mia tried for a baby: After Mia had three miscarriages, their son Kuari was born premature and died after ten days. Ryder confides in Roo about Chloe kissing him and she and Alf wonder if he likes her. Leah takes the afternoon off with Justin and they photograph themselves in front of the Sold sign. Dean tells Amber he wants to be with her and they sleep together.

Ryder and Chloe are still awkward around each other and Bella takes it upon herself to intervene and talk to them both. After talking it over, they kiss but stage an argument in front of Bella and Nikau. Willow learns from Jai that Dean and Amber slept together and cautions them against it but they decide to make a go of things. Nikau convinces Bella to talk to Willow. Justin and Leah learn that their house has been sold but not to them. Irene tells Marilyn she thinks Susie has taken the money.

John asks Nikau about Ari. Susie ignores Justin's calls and Irene shares her suspicions with him and Leah. Willow finds that Susie isn't registered as an estate agent in Western Australia but does appear in a photo under the name Imogen Simmons. Leah and Justin confront Susie, who promises to sort it out. Next morning, they wait for her outside the surf club as she packs her bags. After talking things over with Willow, Bella begins to forgive her. Ari is unaware that Mia was at the hospital. She eventually turns up to visit but remains convinced he hasn't changed. ...

Amber takes Jai into school and afterwards Dean, who is expected to win a trip to Movie World at the surf carnival, helps him make a poster for school. Ryder and Chloe are keeping their romance secret and meet up at her place. Mia visits Ari and they eventually decide to get back together and for her to stay in town. Ryder and Chloe make plans to tell Bella and Nikau about them. Leah and Justin continue to wait for Susie, who tells John she's in Yabbie Creek when in fact she is emptying his account. Irene comes round to confront her and gets chloroformed for her ...

Alf, Marilyn and Roo share updates on the situation with Susie. Alf and Roo begin to investigate the possibility she took the sponsorship money from the surf carnival, with John having resigned as president. Leah and Justin fill Tori and Christian in on what's happened but Leah prefers to plough ahead rather than deal with it. Dean is worried Jai expects him to win the surf competition and learns it might be cancelled but tells Amber he'll make it happen. Nikau learns Ryder and Chloe are together after catching them kissing but accepts it after a chat from Bella. ...

Ziggy tries to quiz Mackenzie about her decision. After spending the day mulling it over, she decides to have the abortion and books it for the next day. Alf is furious about John but Roo and Marilyn are worried, especially when they find the house empty. It transpires he has gone to see Jett. Christian is criticised by his team during the review and learn the family want an autopsy. He gets drunk in Salt, then punches Lewis in front of Tori and Jasmine. After Tori tells Lewis he has the right to report Christian, Lewis declares that he's finished.

Dean briefly chats to Willow before Mackenzie tells him her decision. However, Dean feels unable to take her to her appointment when Ari doesn't know. Ziggy gives him a serve and he offers to take her after all but Mackenzie feels he'd still be judging. However, she lets Ziggy think they're still going. Ziggy falls out with Tane when she makes generalisations about men wanting families but they soon make up. Jasmine is worried Lewis' complaint will cause more trouble, but after talking it over with Irene and Willow, she agrees to support him. During the night, ...

Ziggy and Tane return from their night out and head to Salt. Mackenzie eventually manages to call Dean, who rushes her to hospital and calls Ziggy. Tori tells them the pregnancy is ectopic and a tube has ruptured. Alf and Roo ring round the competition sponsors and are threatened with a lawsuit for misappropriation of funds: Their only options are refunding the money and letting the competition go ahead but only John knows the details. Ari asks Mia to move in with him. She later sees Mackenzie at the hospital and Tane tells her what's going on, but Mackenzie rebuffs ...

Bella and Nikau are getting used to Ryder and Chloe behaving like a couple as Dean asks him to keep an eye on Salt. Mia puts Ari off by saying she was thinking about Kuari. Ryder is shocked to hear he is being discharged. Nikau teaches him a Maori speech supposedly to ask for his approval but actually saying he is a bad person who should be punished. However, Ari and Mia accept him anyway. Alf, Leah and Roo are trying to sort out the surf club business but Marilyn learns John has left Jett's: In fact, he is holed up at home. Dean draws him out by hanging around ...

Ryder and Chloe continue to be loved up, leaving Bella and Nikau no time on their own, with even a trip to the Diner resulting in Roo quizzing them about the pair. John has to admit to Alf, Irene and Leah that Susie had the sponsorship money and it is clear the surf club doesn't have the funds to organise the competition. Justin is unhappy that Leah is paying more attention to the surf club's problems than theirs, while Leah thinks there's no point talking about what's happened. Roo tries to broker peace but it ends with Justin blaming John and Leah blaming Justin. ...

Dean, Willow, Jai and Amber hear Leah's shouts and Dean manages to get Justin back to shore. Jasmine helps them out and things are tense between her and Christian, who is still being riled by Lewis, when he gets home. Leah and Justin finally talk things over and agree to support each other. Alf is reinstated as surf club president and Dean offers his help to get the surf comp going. Amber talks to Willow about getting in touch with Alex again. Christian gets called into the hospital to hear the autopsy results.

Ziggy and Tane bring Mackenzie home but she is withdrawn, only crying when she's left alone. Lewis bails on his date with Jasmine on hearing the autopsy results are in and she ends up sharing the picnic with Willow and Amber. Amber encourages Willow to get back in touch with Alex and she eventually leaves her a message. Christian finds the autopsy showed no blame on his behalf and is also cleared to return to work on condition he attends anger management. Lewis gets into an argument with Christian as soon as he returns to work, then gets Murray to arrest him for the assault, which could lead to two years in prison and being struck off. Willow explains her plans to Amber. Both Dean and Bella are unhappy, but with a bit of prodding from Amber, Dean talks to Willow and accepts her decision. Irene, Dean, Amber and Bella join Willow for a farewell meal at Salt. Alf and Roo's new article paints John as gullible but does get people donating to the surf club. Leah convinces Justin to clear the air with John but he later experiences severe back pains and decides he needs to go to the hospital for scans.

Bella and Nikau arrange to go away to a country cottage for some privacy. Alf, John and Roo update Marilyn on the surf club fundraising. John tells Marilyn he's going to sell the house: He offers the money to Leah and Justin but they refuse. Justin is given stronger pain medication. Dean tells Amber he'd like another child one day. She is initially sceptical but later agrees to consider it. Ryder and Chloe gatecrash Bella and Nikau's weekend away, prompting them to swear revenge.

Ziggy and Tane have to meet up at Salt before Mackenzie breaks down in front of Ziggy at home. Bella and Nikau put the frights on Ryder and Chloe by having Nikau sneak around the house during the night, then take photos of them all sleeping and tell ghost stories. Ari is having trouble sitting at home doing nothing despite Tane and Mia's efforts. Ziggy buys a motorbike for them to do up together.

Bella and Nikau return from the awards ceremony. Bella gets a call from a woman she met there who turns out to be from a modelling agency and wants Nikau to do some work for her;he declines. Roo is throwing herself into organising the surf competition. Irene asks John to help her interview gym managers for Jasmine. John gives the applicants a hard time but Irene hires Mia. Ari suggests Tane cover his labouring job until he's fit again. Ziggy admits she doesn't want to go home to Mac.

Dean is continuing to throw himself into organising the surf carnival despite Roo's micro-managing. Ryder and Chloe are loved up. Ziggy gives Mackenzie some straight talking that causes her to gather herself somewhat but she also tells Ryder to sack Chloe so she doesn't have to see her at work, which he is unable to bring himself to do. John and Marilyn tell Roo about him selling the house. Amber tells Dean she loves him, prompting him to freeze up, and Roo's arrival stops them talking about it.

Dean is distracted while going through surf carnival arrangements with Roo. Amber goes to a reluctant Mackenzie for advice and Dean eventually convinces her he's committed to her and Jai. Leah is spending all her time on forums researching Susie, while Justin goes to a different doctor when his GP won't give him a repeat prescription without examining him. Ryder hopes to avoid Mackenzie but she turns up to do the rosters and, on learning he hasn't sacked Chloe, does it herself. Chloe is upset that Ryder knew.

Chloe is unhappy that Ryder didn't inform her of Mackenzie's plans. Despite words from Alf and Dean and a serve from Mia, Mackenzie is unrepentant, although she does regret trying to get Ryder to sack his girlfriend. Roo asks Ryder to help out at the bait shop but he and Chloe are enjoying their free time. Bella talks Nikau into going back to the shoot and Emmett gets her to help direct him. They are later sent a basket saying Nikau has his first job, prompting Ryder and Chloe to decide they need to do something. Justin is annoyed that Leah told his doctor about his double dosing but calms down. Tori has a hard time dealing with Christian's near death experience but Jasmine is more understanding. Leah and Justin take John out for dinner and Leah manages to interest him in her search for Susie, later hearing of a sighting of her on the coast which she is determined to follow up. Amber is unhappy to keep finding Ziggy with Dean and nearly comes to blows with her, prompting Tane to tell Ziggy he loves her. Amber accuses Dean of still being in love with Ziggy and feels there's no chance for them.

Mia helps Ari at the gym. Ziggy confides in her about Tane telling her he loves her. Ari talks to Dean, who is worried about losing Jai, and suggests to Mia they try for a baby again. Justin shares his worries with Irene but she is unable to talk Leah out of chasing down the lead. Amber talks things over with John and apologises to Ziggy. Dean admits he does still love Ziggy but wants to keep the family together. Amber however feels they're not really happy. She and Jai leave next morning, promising Dean will always be his father, and Dean is left alone in the flat.

Dean asks Ziggy and Tane if they've seen Mackenzie and learns about her hitting on Tane. He confides in Ari about Amber and Jai leaving and later tells Ziggy it was because he still loves her, before getting a call from Mackenzie. Justin is anxious about Leah being away, leaving an irate phone message and accidentally breaking Alf's outboard motor in frustration, before hearing she's on the way back. Ari avoids talking to Mia about having a baby and Tane suggests they leave it. Ari gets emotional when he finds Kauri's things among Mia's belongings and she comforts him.

Marilyn brings Grace back to Justin. He welcomes Leah back from her trip away but she remains determined to keep searching for Susie, despite Alf, Irene and Marilyn hoping that would be the end of it. John decides to move on, leaving Leah angry at the lack of support. Ari and Mia talk things over about Kauri and decide to try for a baby. Dean finds Mackenzie in a motel, drunk and playing loud music to the point that she gets kicked out. He insists on taking her back to his flat.

Bella and Nikau prepare for his first modelling session, which includes a trip by limo. Justin is still infuriated by Leah's obsession, leaving her and Alf worried. Leah finds Justin has been taking too many tablets and agrees to help him reduce them, unaware he is hiding a packet. Dean gets Jasmine to keep an eye on Mackenzie; they end up getting drunk together and doing a tarot reading. Bella works with Emmett but is uncomfortable with how close Nikau has to get to Allegra. Sienna insists Nikau attend the after party as part of the job and tells Bella she owns him.

Ryder and Chloe are relaxing on the beach and encounter a drunken Jasmine. They try and cadge food from Salt and are caught by Roo trying it on with Marilyn at the Diner. Bella invites them to the party, where Sienna is introducing Nikau to everyone, and they meet Emmett. Next day, an unhappy Alf insists they need to find a direction and Chloe claims they're working on something. Jasmine drags Christian into a sobering up drink and annoys Tori with a long speech about tarot cards over dinner. Tori then finds Christian swimming naked.

Ziggy and Tane return to town and learn from Irene that Mackenzie is now living with Dean. Roo gives Ryder and Chloe the afternoon to come up with a business idea: They tell her and Alf they're going to set up a food truck but balk at the start-up costs. Ziggy offers to help them out with a junkyard. Tori is frustrated as Christian shows more interest in joining an ocean swim club and having a tarot reading with Marilyn than their wedding. Dean tries to ask John for help with Salt but he is too frustrated with Leah to listen. Mackenzie has not paid her staff but is drunk in the flat with a cut hand, forcing Dean to call Tori for help. Tori doesn't understand Christian's belief that he survived for a reason and he and Justin resolve to keep quiet about their partners' attitudes. Leah spends hours going over Stephen's evidence and Justin ends up agreeing to meet with him. Christian goes back to work but disappears off to the empty ward where he nearly died.

Dean convinces Mackenzie to go into work where she seems to get things organised. Justin accompanies Leah to her meeting with Stephen. They brush off Irene's admonishment about John but Justin is impressed that Stephen stops Leah chasing every lead and he later tells John he and Susie were never romantic. Christian turns up late to help an aneurysm patient, Shonda Evans, but operates and saves her. He drives at speed on a country road but tells Tori everything's fine. Mackenzie uses Jasmine's arrival as an excuse to start drinking, then notices a male customer.

Jasmine admits to Irene that she feels directionless. Ari and Mia go to the hospital for him to get the all-clear and Mia feels guilty about trying for a baby when Jasmine relies on her at the gym. Dean finds Mackenzie with James but refuses to judge her, although he accuses her of pushing everyone away. Dean discovers Mackenzie has stayed out all night with a guy. Ryder and Chloe hear that the money has come through. Nikau tries to comfort Bella, then threatens to quit to Sienna but she says it will mean the end of Bella's internship as well. Dean and Bella are unhappy when Mackenzie has Emmett stay over but Dean tells her she's not going to make him stop caring about her. Nikau and Bella decide to go ahead with their jobs but Emmett advises Bella to get out while she can.

Nikau tells Sienna no more ambushes or threats to sack Bella but Sienna says she'll do what's necessary for his career. Emmett tells Bella about Sienna using her internship as leverage. Bella and Nikau talk it over and decide to quit but Nikau changes his mind when he sees how much he's being paid and instead resigns from the bait shop. Dean encourages Bella to make the most of the opportunity. Mia lets slip to Dean that Tane has moved in with Ziggy. While she's explaining to Ari, Dean packs a bag.

Ziggy and Tane are loved up as he finishes his job. Ari, Mia and Ziggy all worry about Dean being missing but it transpires he has gone to Movie World with Jai and Amber. Alf continues to struggle running the bait shop on his own while Leah gets more results for her crowdfunding. Justin is happily preparing for the wedding, asking Ziggy to run the garage, but starts to panic when he realises he doesn't have enough pills for the trip. He spends the day ringing round trying to get a prescription without an appointment and Ziggy sees him smashing something.

Jasmine is excited to get the news that she's been made nurse unit manager of ICU. Tori is put out to have to hear about it from a work e-mail but an outburst from Christian gets them working together. Roo tries to stop Alf doing too much. Justin asks Ziggy to keep quiet about his outburst but she is uncomfortable lying to Leah, who is working with John to hire a PI. Tane advises her to talk to Leah, who asks Justin what he's hiding from her.

Mackenzie returns to town to find Dean missing. She discovers Ryder and Chloe have set up their new taco truck outside the surf club and accuses Alf of being biased in allowing it, prompting them to relocate to the caravan park, although they are determined to not give up. Christian is waiting for his tandem jump when a solo jumper, Rachel Young, has an accident. Justin loses his temper with Tori wondering where Christian is, then tells Leah his tumour might be back. Chloe maintains she saw a rat and Mackenzie is forced to close down and have an inspection. Alf and Roo tackle Ryder, who eventually admits they made it up and gives Mackenzie the afternoon's takings to cover the inspection costs. Christian insists on staying at the hospital overnight to keep an eye on Rachel. Tori convinces herself they'll still be going in the morning. Justin realises he won't be able to take his stockpile of medication on the flight so decides he and Leah will drive down instead. Roo and Marilyn look after Alf who continues to insist he is fine but hires Tane on a part-time basis. John calls Stephen for advice about a PI and he and Leah end up hiring the one he recommends, Sam Jones. Justin attempts to fob Leah off and blows up at Ziggy when he finds her at the surf club on her break. Leah confides in Irene and suggests Justin is addicted. He flushes his pills down the sink, then attempts to retrieve them and looks up how to buy them online before firing Ziggy.

Ziggy tells Tane about being fired as he starts work at the bait shop. She rings round in a failed attempt to find more work. Ari and Mia join them for lunch and Mia offers Tane a job at the gym. John gets a text, apparently from Susie, and consults with Irene, Marilyn and Stephen; Stephen tells him to get the private investigator to look into it. Nikau spends the day with Emmett and Allegra working on his social media profile. Emmett offers to share an exhibition with Bella. Allegra gives Nikau an appetite suppressant.

Bella excitedly tells Dean about her exhibition but is disappointed when Emmett cuts their meeting short to hook up with Mackenzie. Alf is working alone with Tane at the gym and Roo ends up cutting back on her hours at the school to help him. Nikau shows Bella the appetite suppressors and ignores Mia and Ari's advice on a sensible training regime and refuelling, lying in order to skip meals. Dean warns Emmett not to mess Bella about and tells Mackenzie not to mess things up to her, but even though Emmett meets Bella to discuss the exhibition, they head off afterwards.

Bella thanks Dean for his help with Emmett, although Dean is frustrated to find Emmett is still seeing Mackenzie and warns him everything she touches ends in disaster. Emmett ends up ignoring Mackenzie's messages and committing to focus on Bella, leaving Mackenzie accusing Dean of trying to control her. Nikau continues to over-exercise.Christian is spending most of his time watching over Rachel at the hospital and tells Tori he can't set a new wedding date until he knows she's all right. Rachel discovers what is going on and questions Christian about it.

Tane gets ready for his first day of work at the gym. He is nervous about letting Mia down, and makes a mess of answering the phone, while Ziggy is getting tired of being unemployed. Alf automatically opens up the bait shop but Roo insists on taking over, then has to ask Nikau to tell her what to do. Tane tries to convince Nikau there aren't any shortcuts in body building but Nikau ignores his advice and exercises in his room. Alf gives Roo some pointers on running the bait shop but is happy for her to remain in charge. Leah thinks Justin is back to his old self and advises Ziggy to talk to him, but in fact he is still taking deliveries of medication he bought online and tells Ziggy her work wasn't up to it. Leah and John decide to respond to Susie's text and it is decided John will meet her with Leah and Stephen waiting nearby.

Dean continues to have difficulties with Mackenzie: He is due to have Jai to stay but Mackenzie is still inviting random men back so instead he arranges to look after him at Amber's. He asks Ari to keep an eye on her but she gives him short shrift. John, Leah and Stephen turn up for the meeting but Susie doesn't show, then sends John a text saying it was meant to be just the two of them. Chloe has a hangover but Ryder thinks she is pregnant on finding a test. She explains it isn't hers, which Ari overhears. Justin continues to be up and down and Leah finds him ...

Ari gets Mia to take the test but it comes back negative. Chloe fills Ryder in on Mia's miscarriages and Kuari and tells Ari and Mia that she's worried it will break up their family again but agrees to them continuing to try. Justin is brought into hospital and Tori quickly realises he's taken something. Alf and Leah find Justin's pills and Tori berates him but Justin continues to insist he isn't an addict. When Tori tries to force the issue, Justin says he doesn't want her as his doctor.

Christian is escorting Rachel round the hospital when he finds Justin there. Leah, Tori and Christian try to talk Justin out of leaving.He collapses and agrees to see a pain specialist. Christian offers to keep an eye on him overnight but instead ends up in Rachel's room, with Justin disappearing in the morning. Mia is disturbed by Chloe's doubts so Ari makes arrangements with Jasmine to take her for a bike ride. Alf and Leah track Justin down and returns him to hospital. Tori snaps at Rachel and tries to question Christian, who fails to respond.

Ryder and Chloe worry about the lack of business. Tori and Christian try to talk things over but Tori is hurt by Christian's bond with Rachel while Christian feels she doesn't understand how he's been affected. He decides to move out so they can both focus on things. Alf and Roo make plans to go to Martha's family planning meeting. Nikau asks Allegra for help with his socials and she brings Sienna along, where they make plans for a party. Bella and Emmett's attempts to plan their exhibition are disrupted and Nikau wants Bella to put the planning on hold to support him...

Ziggy and Tane meet up with Ari and Mia on their return to town. Dean also returns but fails to talk to Mackenzie. Ari and Mia walk in on Nikau's party and agree to let it continue, while Bella and Emmett use the opportunity to take photos, although Bella is unhappy to see Nikau with Allegra. Mackenzie overhears Tane talking about the party and gatecrashes it, throwing herself at Emmett. Ziggy tells Dean about losing her job. Bella calls him to the party and he and Ari tell Mackenzie to leave. Dean tries to get her to talk to him.

Ziggy decides to go and check on Mackenzie but just gets more abuse. Stephen gets John to admit he is still texting Susie and tries to get him to go to the police. Justin is sent home from hospital but Leah is in charge of giving him his pain medication. Leah tells Ziggy what's going on and she goes back to work at the garage. Justin turns the house upside down looking for his pills then tries to get them off Leah, who ends up shutting herself away in the bedroom while he begs for them. Dean asks Alf and Roo if they've seen Mackenzie, then gets Jasmine looking for her. Stephen enlists Leah's help to get John to go to the police. Justin says he'll go to the gym, where Jasmine keeps an eye on him, but manages to slip away from her and order more pills. Stephen suggests he go to the police with John. Alf and Roo bring Martha home but Roo remains concerned they might not be able to cope. She later tells Marilyn that Kieran's lawyers have rung her saying he wants to speak to her.

Bella takes photographs of Nikau on the beach. They meet with Emmett but Nikau is called away by Sienna and Allegra to pose with donated items. Roo learns Kieran has completed his rehab and counselling and needs somewhere to stay in order to be released. She tries to talk to Alf but he shuts the subject down. Dean and Jasmine continue to look for Mackenzie. When there's still no sign of her the next morning, Dean reports her missing to Murray. Nikau suggests to Sienna that he uses his socials to advertise the exhibition. Instead, Sienna tells Bella she can't use ...

Bella and Emmett try to protest with Sienna but she sticks to her guns and later tells Nikau she's arranging an international contract for him in Japan. Bella tries to do replacement photographs but her heart isn't in it. Nikau tells Sienna he'll take the contract if she gives Bella permission to use the photos. Martha overhears Alf and Roo discussing Kieran and is annoyed they kept it from her, but eventually accepts she's not up to dealing with him and heads to Merimbula with Alf. Christian takes Rachel down to the beach, upsetting Tori when she sees them. Tori and Leah are trying to keep an eye on Justin but he manages to slip away and tells Ziggy not to touch an order at the garage. Christian and Rachel run into Tori who Christian later meets up with but when he won't commit to a new wedding date she calls things off. Ziggy discovers the orders is more online pills and keeps them from Justin, alerting Leah and Tori. Stephen breaks up a row between Justin and Leah and Justin later sees them hugging. Justin follows Stephen and attacks him.

Mia sees a disoriented Justin during a class on the beach while John and Tane find Stephen badly beaten. At hospital, Stephen tells Tori and John that Justin did it. Justin is arrested by Senior Constable Cash Newman and admits to the assault with Tori getting Cash to keep him in the cells overnight before he is bailed. Ari, Mia, Chloe and Ryder go to Salt and find it in disarray with Mackenzie missing and staff not being paid. Dean asks Ryder to keep an eye on it until Mackenzie gets back. The Bay is desperate to discover whose body is in the water. Justin tries to make amends. Dean catastrophises. Ari gets some unexpected news.

Dean tries to talk Mackenzie out of moving out but she orders Ryder out of Salt and spends the night on her own. Cash interviews John, Justin and Leah about Susie's death, also asking for a statement from Marilyn, and reveals she was already dead when John received the texts. Bella asks Ryder to help her find a venue for a pre-show and Mackenzie agrees to them using Salt. Dean refuses to leave the restaurant, wanting to keep an eye on her, so Mackenzie calls Cash to have him removed.

Cash escorts Dean from the surf club, where he explains the situation. Ziggy gives Mackenzie a serve and she later explains to Dean that she needs space to sort herself out. Marilyn and Stephen are interviewed by the police but Irene gets the biggest shock when Cash tells her she's officially a suspect. Justin makes unconvincing attempts to apologise to Stephen and Ziggy and manages to scare Leah. Stephen tells Leah that if Justin bothers him again he'll go to the police.

Ari and Mia are waiting for a hospital appointment but are left worried when they are fast-tracked to the obstetrician, keeping it from Chloe. Ziggy escorts Justin home after his altercation with Stephen. Leah and Justin continue to clash, with Justin accusing Leah of trying turn Tori against him. After a chat with Irene and staying overnight at hers, Leah decides to move out. However, Tori announces that Justin must move out, leaving him with no option.

Bella and Emmett set up for their pre-show, which Ryder has been roped in to organising. Kieran turns up to see Roo and gives her a letter for Martha. Tori sees Christian taking Rachel for another walk and confides in Jasmine, who gives the pair the cold shoulder at the Diner. Ari and Mia confide in Chloe about Mia's pregnancy and learn the tests simply showed Mia was further along than thought. Amy and Cash run into Leah and Stephen at Salt, where Amy asks them about the texts John received and Stephen says they never saw him receive them. Leah gently rebuffs Stephen when he tries to kiss her. Amy accuses John of sending the texts himself and he accuses Stephen of dropping him in it, with Irene having to restore order. Ari and Mia bring Chloe home from the hospital. Christian takes Jasmine off the ventilator and she comes round, but he and Irene are concerned when she keeps forgetting why she's there. Christian discharges Rachel from the hospital but she is run over and later dies in hospital, leaving him devastated. Justin comes to in his car and tells Leah he's afraid he was driving but Leah learns the real driver has been arrested. Justin admits he's an addict.

Tori and Christian talk things over before Leah summons Tori home: Justin refuses to go to hospital and insists on going cold turkey at home. Mackenzie asks Dean's advice on re-employing Chloe. She later tries to clear the air with Ziggy but Ziggy refuses to forgive her, although Tane tells her to not blame Dean for standing by her. Kieran approaches Tane about a job at the gym, but after consulting with Irene, Marilyn and John, he decides against hiring him. Cash and Amy pull over Justin and find he has Susie's smashed phone in his car. Justin denies all knowledge of it and Cash eventually halts the interview and takes him to hospital when he collapses. Ziggy and Tane run into Bella and Nikau, just before Nikau gets summoned to a last minute streetwear shoot. Ziggy meets up with Tane and they decide to get breakfast together but then see Ryder and Chloe arguing about Nikau. Tane has to tell Ziggy what's going on and she is annoyed he kept quiet about it. Mackenzie tries to apologise to them: Ziggy rejects her but Tane agrees to try and be friends. Chloe apologises to Ryder and Mackenzie but turns down a job. Christian brings Jasmine home from hospital. Kieran fails to turn up to meet Alf and ends up buying a bottle of scotch. Ryder finds him and calls Roo, who tries to support him.

Justin clears the air with Ziggy but Leah is still awkward around him after thinking he killed Susie. Tori invites Leah, Justin and Ziggy round for dinner but excludes Christian. Leah confesses to Justin who is fine with it. Kieran admits to Alf that he was tempted to drink again and Alf throws him out, with Roo going with him. Irene suggests Kieran stay with her and Jasmine. Christian goes round to see Tori and kisses her.

Chloe welcomes Nikau back to town and tries to give him her support. Ryder has a go at him and Nikau punches him when he says he didn't deserve Bella. Tori and Christian have dinner at Salt and spend the night together, with him preparing a romantic picnic next morning. Jasmine is awkward around Kieran, trying to avoid him, but they end up spending the night talking. Alf is unhappy that Kieran is staying with Irene and Kieran tells Jasmine he's worried Alf won't ever accept him.

Alf has a go at Roo and Irene for helping Kieran. Roo and Jasmine have to talk Kieran out of leaving town and Alf agrees to pass Kieran's letter on to Martha, with Kieran promising to leave if she doesn't want to see him. Justin dumps Grace with Tori and Christian so he can take Leah out for breakfast. Christian assures Tori he's got everything he wants and they go away for the weekend. Justin convinces Leah to let him move into the cottage while she recovers, but she first removes a bag containing the money and laptop from Stephen's room.

Nikau apologises to Ryder but Ari and Tane both lecture him anyway, while Ziggy struggles to come to terms with Tane keeping quiet. Nikau contacts Sienna about getting his job back but finds she has already replaced him. John talks to Cash about getting the bank to reimburse his stolen money. Leah tells Justin about the bag she took from Stephen's room and he is aghast she tampered with a crime scene. Bella and Emmett return from the city with the exhibition in place. Ziggy begins to understand Tane's support of Nikau. Nikau tries to talk to Bella, who ends up being comforted by Ziggy while Tane tries to get him to leave it alone. Nikau tracks her down again only to be rebuffed again, with Dean seeing him off. Leah and Justin tell John about the laptop and money before reporting it to Cash, who decides to keep quiet about where he found them. Emmett gets a call offering him a job in New York but he and Mackenzie worry about the effect it would have on Bella.

Ryder and Chloe run into Bella, leading to an argument between the two girls. Ryder tries to get Bella to make peace but her attempt to clear the air fails. Ryder encourages Chloe to apply for a job at the Diner, as do Ari and Mia, who are on their way to the 12-week ultrasound. Despite feeling offended when Marilyn asks for a CV, Chloe complies. Emmett is unable to tell Bella he's accepted the job, simply telling her she sold a photo, and tells Mackenzie he'll tell her after the exhibition. Mackenzie convinces Dean to let her move back in. Kieran talks to Jasmine about the lack of contact from Martha. Roo convinces Martha to talk to him but she is unsure if she can trust him. After a bit of pushing from Ryder and Marilyn, Irene agrees to give Chloe the job. Ari and Mia attend their first scan. Kieran cooks Jasmine breakfast to thank her for her help, but she backs off when he tries to kiss her. Kieran hurries away, telling Jasmine to leave him alone.

Justin goes for his first surf since his rehab, while Leah gets an update from Cash. John has his money returned by the bank but refuses to spend it on himself. Jasmine fills Irene in on Kieran. She tracks him down and finds him calmer but then suffers a seizure. Alf and Martha stumble across them and Alf calls Cash, thinking he attacked her, but Jasmine soon puts them straight. Martha invites Kieran home with her. Tori and Christian return from holiday but are unsure of their relationship status. Christian asks Justin to help him propose to Tori again.

Ziggy convinces Tane to go to the exhibition with her, then is uncomfortable when they end up arranging to travel with Dean .She admits to Justin that she's wondering if she was too hard on Dean breaking up with him. Justin sounds out Tori about her feelings for Christian. Tori asks Christian to move back in but he refuses, although he assures her he has his reasons and is committed to her. John asks Cash about giving the money to Susie's victims but Cash can't give him their details. Leah backs off after a kiss with Justin and he refuses to discuss it the next ...

Leah and Justin talk things over and, after spending the day together, they sleep together and she tells him to move back in. Irene and Tane have to stop Nikau harassing Bella about going to the exhibition. Tane tries to get Nikau to work his frustration out on a punch bag. Dean and Ziggy end up sneaking away from the event and kissing, which is witnessed by Nikau, but Dean drives off when Ziggy isn't able to say she forgives him. Nikau grabs a microphone to declare his love to a mortified Bella, then pushes Emmett over and challenges him to a fight.

Nikau is ordered out of the exhibition, with Ziggy and Mackenzie looking after an upset Bella. Ziggy confides in Mackenzie about kissing Dean, who has gone to visit Jai. Alf tells Roo he doesn't think the reunion with Kieran will work out. Chloe starts work at the Diner and initially chafes at Marilyn telling her what to do but they eventually get on. Ryder tips Ari off about Nikau being at the exhibition. Ari and Tane give Nikau a serve, while Mia's attempt to talk to him reasonably is interrupted by Ryder and Chloe. Dean returns and immediately orders Ziggy out of the flat. Ryder learns Alf wants to renovate Martha's house and hopes to repay the loan soon; he and Chloe contemplate getting second jobs. Chloe remains on Nikau's side despite his behaviour. Irene is frustrated when she spends most of her second shift chatting to Ryder. Ziggy confesses to Tane that she kissed Dean and he asks for some space. Bella gets Mackenzie to tell her what's going on and thinks Ziggy should dump Tane and get back with Dean, infuriating Chloe.

Jasmine runs into Cash, who explains he was there when she had her seizure. They run into each other again at the gym and at Salt, where John invites them to join him and Irene for dinner. Leah helps Justin write a proposal song for Christian. Bella is annoyed when Ryder suggests she get back with Nikau, but after Irene plays peacemaker, she accepts Ryder's point that they need to talk and arranges to meet Nikau the next morning. Irene grudgingly gives Chloe a permanent job and Chloe suggests she and Ryder set up a delivery service; they admit they love each other. ...

Ari and Mia take a trip to the beach pool and discuss naming their daughter Sophia after Mia's mother. Cash follows Jasmine to the surf club but she walks off again on learning he's a police officer. Irene tries to change Jasmine's mind but she is put out again on learning Cash asked Murray about her. Roo convinces Alf to join her, Kieran and Martha for a family lunch but things remain awkward. Ziggy tries to talk to Tane. She eventually assures him everything's over with Dean. Leah and Justin help Christian prepare for his proposal to Tori, which includes getting Mackenzie to put on brunch for them. Ari gets drunk over Nikau's departure. Nikau spends the night on a bench after the place he was going to is closed and calls Mia to pick him up. Dean gives her a lift, recalling that Ari missed out on parole and served another two years for protecting Dean from a beating. As they are driving back with Nikau, Dean swerves to avoid a kangaroo. Nikau comes to and finds the car on the edge of the cliff. Mia tells him to go for help, even though he is badly hurt. Ari confides in Mackenzie about Mia. Leah and Justin put the final pieces in place for Christian's proposal to Tori and confide in Marilyn, who is left looking after Grace. Dean comes round but Mia fails to get the car to stabilise, leaving him trapped on the edge. Nikau makes it to the road but then collapses.

Nikau finally manages to attract the attention of a car. Mia secures the car with severed seat belts. Tori and Christian are about to start their pier lunch when they are called into hospital. Nikau is rushed in with head injuries and needs emergency surgery. Doctor Logan Bennett takes charge at the site, treating the still trapped Dean. Ari and Mackenzie arrive at the hospital and learn Mia had a miscarriage and Dean is still trapped. Logan gives Dean emergency treatment but he crashes again as the rescue helicopter takes off.

Ziggy and Tane hear about Nikau being in hospital and take Bella and Chloe there. It is only then they hear Dean has been injured too. Logan insists on operating in the ED despite Tori's objections and Dean is soon recovering. Mia tells Ari she isn't going to try for a baby again. Christian has to cancel the proposal plans so Justin and Leah take over the romantic dinner. Christian proposes to Tori in the lift. Next morning, Nikau starts bleeding again and Christian has to take him back into theatre.

Ziggy tells Tane she's going into work but instead goes to the hospital to sit by Dean's bedside and tells him she forgives him. Tane comes in after hearing Nikau's back in theatre and sees them together. Ziggy confides in Bella. Alf is still uncomfortable with Kieran being around so Kieran decides to move out. Roo protests but Martha agrees and suggests Kieran live at her place in Merimbula. Tane moves out on Ziggy, telling Ari he needs to come home.

Mackenzie gives John and Ryder an update on Dean. Tane tells her about his break-up with Ziggy. Kieran leaves town and Alf and Martha worry how Roo will cope. Ryder wants to get someone to run the board shop and ends up annoying Tane, who reacts badly when Cash tries to step in. Cash suggests a rota and also asks John and Ryder to help with the touch footy. Tane makes a move on Mackenzie but she thinks it's a bad idea, although he goes out drinking anyway. Leah and Justin learn the garage is being sold and Leah fills in John.

Ryder tries to find a way to cheer up Chloe. Alf suggests he ask her what she wants and she suggests they sign up to the touch footy team. Jasmine is unhappy to find Cash running things but agrees to stay since he won't have a team otherwise. Martha suggests a fundraiser to raise awareness for mental health issues. She and Roo come up with the idea of an art show but have difficulty finding anyone who knows enough to contribute. Ryder suggests asking Bella. Ryder gets Martha and Roo to put their pitch to Bella. She tells them she isn't doing photographs at the moment but offers to donate an old shot and arrange exhibition space for them. Leah and Justin learn the new garage owner is John but come to accept it. Jasmine and Cash have dinner at Salt and get on well, leaving her confused when he is unenthusiastic about a second date. Bella worries that she isn't being told everything about Nikau so Irene convinces her to visit him.

Ziggy and Mackenzie go for a surf together. Tane still refuses to talk to Ziggy, who later goes to see Dean. After a lot of prevaricating, she tells him she and Tane have broken up. Ari and Chloe bring Mia home from hospital but she is distant from Ari, accusing him of throwing away Sophia's scan photo and not softening when he reveals he put it with Kauri's things. Tane wonders if he made a mistake breaking up with Ziggy but Mackenzie tells him she's with Dean. Tane finds Bella visiting Nikau and blames her for his condition but Ari steps in and tells Tane to leave.

Christian and Mackenzie run into Logan, a former colleague of Christian's, and they all head to the hospital. Nikau wakes up and clears the air with Ari but tells Bella to leave. A nurse insists on checking on Dean, resulting in Ziggy running off. Dean talks to Logan about his recovery and picks up on the friendliness between Logan and Mackenzie. Ziggy admits to Dean that she still loves him and forgives him and they kiss, which is witnessed by Tane. Tane refuses Ziggy's efforts to talk to him.

Mackenzie and Logan flirt on the beach. Christian invites Logan for lunch where he and Tori are reunited and she makes it clear she still isn't happy with his behaviour in the ED. Mia admits to Tori that she's worried Ari will try and get her to try for a baby again. However, Ari convinces her that she is enough for him. Roo returns from checking out art galleries with Martha. Justin hears the garage alarm is going off and goes to investigate.

Justin and Cash find that the intruder is John, who claims he was testing the security system. Leah and Marilyn convince Justin to set some ground rules with John and he ends up agreeing to listen to John's ideas. Chloe is hoping to spend the day with Ryder but he has to work. She ends up being roped into helping Roo and Martha with the fundraiser and offers to do the catering, although her attempts to get the takeaway business started falter because of the lack of funds. Jasmine is bewildered at Cash's departure, as he goes home to learn from Felicity that they are being evicted because of her loud music and arguments with neighbour Mrs.Williams. He later explains to Jasmine that Felicity is his sister. Chloe asks Alf and Marilyn if they can delay repaying them but Ryder is unhappy. Chloe lies that Irene has given them permission to use the Diner kitchen after hours and they spend all night making up dishes and then clearing up. Leah and Justin are accosted by John, who puts ahead some ideas for the garage. Justin later hears that they are being refunded the stolen money and tells John they don't need him to buy the garage anymore. Tane makes an awkward exit from Felicity's place. Felicity surprises Cash at work and ends up gatecrashing his lunch with Jasmine. They later find all their stuff outside the house and move into the caravan park. Christian tells Ari and Nikau that the latter can be discharged. Although pleased at first, Nikau becomes uncomfortable when he runs into Mia, even after she tells him she doesn't blame him for the miscarriage. Leah, Justin, Tori and Christian go out to celebrate the return of the money. Tori and Christian decide to properly rearrange the wedding: Since Simone is pregnant, they decide to have the ceremony closer to home. John announces he's still going to buy the garage. Mia looks into adoption. Nikau continues to avoid Bella and later tells her to leave him alone.

Ziggy and Mackenzie go to see Dean in hospital. Mackenzie runs into Logan at Salt but turns down his offer of a drink. Bella tries to get Nikau to talk to her without success, while Ari tries to get Nikau to stop punishing himself. After a talk with Mackenzie, Bella tells Nikau she's finished with him. Alf seems reluctant to help Roo and Martha with their preparations, refusing to go to Merimbula with Roo. Dean is told to start physio but refuses to let Ziggy stay and quickly orders his physio out.

Ziggy goes to Logan for help with Dean and Mackenzie ends up accompanying to the hospital. Sending the women away, Logan spends the night badgering Dean to take up the physio again. Alf admits to Roo that he doesn't want to spend so much time travelling back and forth but eventually agrees to accompany Martha when she spins it as a fishing trip. Tori and Christian try to get their wedding organised and end up drunk ordering several items. Leah and Justin still plan to invest their money in the garage. Ziggy tries to get Mackenzie to admit she likes Logan and later sends him a text from her phone despite Dean's objections, leaving Mac furious. Leah convinces Justin to hire a temp to run the garage and sign up to a business course. Ryder and Chloe have a lot of orders to get through and get Marilyn out of the Diner only to have Irene and Leah turn up to do a stock take. Ryder ends up faking a power outage to get rid of them and they get the orders done just in time the next morning. Mackenzie rings Logan and leaves a rambling message.

Ryder and Chloe make their deliveries but are exhausted all through their shifts the next day, eventually falling asleep in his car as soon as they've finished. Leah coaches Justin to talk to John about setting up panel beating at the garage but John is unhappy about his idea being used and refuses to give permission, prompting Justin to consider moving the business elsewhere. Nikau convinces Bella that he's serious about making things work and they reunite. Chloe is pleased but Ryder is worried that they'll just break up again and cautions Bella. Alf enlists Marilyn's help with a surprise picnic for Martha on the Blaxland but instead she and Roo have to go to the city to meet with a mental health advocate. Tane gets shunned by Jasmine. Cash serves him an AVO telling him to stay away from Felicity, with Nikau having to step in to stop things getting out of hand. As the gas continues to flood Salt, people start to feel ill, notably Martha and Irene. Jasmine interrupts Leah and Justin's argument and stays on the balcony with Justin when he gets a call from Tori. Cash notices the fumes and locks everyone in Salt as quarantine, calling a Hazmat team and sending John and Roo outside. Logan arrives looking for Mackenzie and helps out. As everyone waits at the hospital, Mackenzie calls Ari and Mia, who have just had a disappointing meeting with their solicitor. Cash checks on Felicity in her caravan but she doesn't understand the significance until the next morning. Logan revives Tane but he ends up in ICU waiting to see if the medication works. Irene, Marilyn and Leah are given the all clear. Alf and Roo are informed that Martha has problems with her lungs and kidneys. Cash tells Felicity she needs to get her story straight and she rings someone for help.

Ryder and Chloe run into each other at the Diner and end up going to the hospital together. Theo drops by to visit Leah, who convinces Justin to let him move in. Nikau hears what has happened and tells Ari and Mia about Felicity, who he thinks is responsible. He confronts her and Anne at Salt with Theo having to step in. Bella, Nikau and Theo join Ryder and Chloe for dinner, where Ryder apologises to Theo for the night of the party. Theo meets Ziggy at the garage and charges a customer $200 extra for a part, offering to split the money with her. She tells him to correct it and he later fakes a migraine to go home. Nikau tells Bella that Theo and Chloe slept together and she tells Ryder. Theo says he just said they spent the night together and it descends into an argument that ends with Bella knocking over Dean. Ziggy comes home and finds him in pain.

Cash, Jasmine and Felicity meet up on the beach and discuss Tane's condition. Federal police later arrive to take over the case. Dean needs a new surfing tutor so Ziggy offers her services. Bella talks to Irene and Ziggy about the row with Chloe and concludes she's not fully over Nikau cheating on her. Marilyn collapses on her way home from work. Jasmine finds a receipt for organophosphate in Felicity's caravan and shows it to Cash. Felicity realises they both think she did it.

Marilyn lies in the park all night until Mackenzie finds her and gets her to hospital. Logan realises an after-effect of the organophosphate is slowly paralysing her. Cash and Jasmine meet Detective Darren Nasser, the chief federal officer, who interviews Felicity on hearing about the AVO. Cash finds that the pesticide was bought online with a money card and delivered to an abandoned house.He burns the receipt. Marilyn takes a turn for the worse while Alf is with her and Logan has to intubate her.

Dean gives Ziggy her first teaching assignment: Two girls, Lissa and Jess, who are only there to meet Nik. Dean puts Nikau in the class to keep an eye on Ziggy but this just distracts them more. Ziggy ends up taking them out in the water, where Lissa bumps her head and Nikau has to rescue her. Ziggy tries to keep it quiet but Dean finds the photos. John is annoyed that he wasn't told about Marilyn straightaway. Martha's lungs are fine but she has to be sent to a hospital in the city for renal treatment. Justin covers with Leah over the fact Theo stayed out all night, hasn't turned up for work and left the house in a mess, until she eventually reveals she knows. Ryder and Chloe struggle to get the business back on track: Customers whose orders weren't delivered have left bad reviews and they failed to pay their last invoice with the suppliers. Ryder tries to sort it but accidentally pays $2000 instead of $200, leaving them with no money and bank charges. Alf wakes Felicity to tell her the caravan's been vandalised. Jasmine finds out about Nikau stirring up hate against her online and takes her to the station to report it but Anne has just admitted she wasn't with Felicity, who has to tell Darren she was alone. Justin and Theo clear the air over the misunderstanding. Chloe finds out about Ryder using all their money and Theo offers them a way to make money quickly. Darren turns up at Felicity's caravan with Cash and other police officers and they find samples of the drug used to sedate Tane.

Theo reveals that he uploaded the video of Ryder's reaction to being shut in the boot for money and he and Ryder agree to video themselves doing challenges. Chloe tells them to come up with five ideas each and pick one at random. Darren takes Felicity down the station to interview her about the drugs, keeping her in overnight with Jasmine talking Cash out of following her. Anne takes her home the next morning and hears her and Jasmine discussing the burnt receipt. When a post about it turns up on the #ToxicFelicity thread, Felicity realises Anne is behind everything.

Felicity tries to get answers from Anne, then tells Cash what's going on, although he doesn't entirely believe her. Tane is released from hospital. Both Bella and Jasmine try to talk Nikau out of trolling Felicity. Cash tells Darren Felicity's story but he decides to arrest her anyway, only to find her and her things gone. Nikau takes this as confirmation he was right and posts online telling people to look for her. Tane finds a rose outside the house.

Ari and Mia find the rose the next morning and are shocked that Tane kept it secret. Nikau begins making more posts despite Tane telling him to leave it to the police. Bella tells him to choose between her and his social media so he decides to call off his followers and delete the account. Logan is puzzled by Marilyn but, after a chat with Mackenzie, decides to reduce the sedation. She comes round but still can't feel her legs. She tells Alf to go and see Martha. Dean and Ziggy make plans for dinner. Ziggy confides in Mackenzie that they haven't been able to sleep together since reuniting. Alf pops by the hospital to see Marilyn and consults with Logan. Theo approaches a broke Ryder and Chloe about the challenges. Irene cautiously serves Marilyn the burger which she enjoys. She slips home where she changes into a plainer outfit and tells Ryder she needs her loan back, as well as complaining she's been replaced at the Diner. Justin sees her at Salt and Irene suggests she stay with her and Jasmine for a few days. Dean explains to Ziggy his reason for wanting to climb the stairs. John fills Bella and Nikau in on the fact that the person behind the chemical attack has been arrested and Tane found. Nikau feels guilty over accusing Felicity. Mackenzie encourages Bella to get a job and John invites Nikau to qualify as a life-saver. Nikau walks out of the lifesaver's course, but after a talk with Ari and reassurance from John, he ends up going back. Justin tries to convince Theo to give up on Chloe but ends up giving him the day off when he finds out she's back in town. Felicity and Tane meet up and he keeps her company overnight. Cash tries to warn him off but he goes back to Felicity and tells her he's there for her, only to back off ...

Tane clears things up with Felicity, who is annoyed that Cash warned him off. She tells Jasmine Cash looked after her when she had a breakdown. After a chat with Ari, Tane agrees to stay away from her. Theo spends time with Chloe by helping with admin for the delivery business but Ryder is annoyed and sends him away. Irene decides to check on Marilyn. Mia sees Matthew Montgomery in town but keeps it secret from Ari. He says he wants to see his child and she meets him in Salt.

Mackenzie chats to Logan about Bella still wanting shifts. Irene sends Ryder to look after Marilyn while she helps Chloe with the orders and he ends up spending the night holding her hand. Matthew agrees to leave town but then sees Chloe and gets her card from Irene. He tells Mia that either she tells Chloe about him or he will, but she responds by accusing him of sexual assault. Marilyn resigns from the Diner and sets up a tarot reading business. Logan uses it as an excuse to examine her but she realises what he's doing.

Ziggy and Dean observe the stand-in surf instructor as Bella prepares for another shift at Salt. Logan learns Marilyn has made an official complaint saying he discharged her too early. Mackenzie tries to talk to her but Logan warns she may have made things worse. Left alone at the house, Marilyn goes to the Morgans', casually walking in on Leah and Justin in bed together. Bella is a disaster again, ignoring customers and dropping plates and food, as well as trying to serve alcohol without a license. Leah insists on letting Marilyn stay for dinner and ends up sitting up all night talking to her. Realising she is lonely, she invites her to stay with them but promptly leaves to look after an injured VJ, leaving Justin alone with her. Ziggy and Dean do their best to counsel Bella, suggesting she take up photography again. She is reluctant but starts taking pictures. Nikau revels in studying lifesaving under John. Justin suggests Dean practice surfing on land, but when he tries to jump up onto the board, he is left in pain.

Logan and Mackenzie compare notes on the complaint. Justin struggles with Marilyn as a housemate, saying people are walking on eggshells around her, but lets her stay. Marilyn argues with Irene and Logan about the complaint. Next day, she loses the feeling in her legs again. Ziggy finds Dean in pain and tries to get him to try surfing on water but he is scared of something go wrong. He goes to see Logan, who tells him he's healing but can't guarantee he'll surf again.

Bella watches Nikau carry out his Bronze Medallion training on the beach. Nikau nearly bails on his assessment but John talks him round and he passes. Marilyn is taken to hospital but refuses to let Logan treat her and is kept in for observation. Logan gets Dean an appointment with Clare but Dean blames Logan for not letting Tori operate. Logan ends up taking leave. Irene suggests Bella set up as a freelance photographer but she doesn't get a commitment from John and just ends up on the end of Dean's frustrations. Jasmine tries to defend Logan to Dean but he isn't ...

Ziggy gives Theo a lesson at the garage. Jasmine fails to convince Dean and ends up calling Ziggy for help. She tells Dean she'll give up surfing too and it's not the end of the world if he can't. John tries to pitch his Neighbourhood Watch idea to Nikau and Bella and asks Cash for help. Bella considers going back to TAFE to learn about business. Theo encourages Ryder to have another challenge. They decide on fire walking but burn their feet when Cash interrupts them. Justin declares Ryder the winner and he taunts Theo, who returns by revealing he kissed Chloe.

Ari and Tane returns from the trade show. Matthew introduces himself to Chloe after hours at the Diner. She confronts Mia and Ari and is shocked to realise he was telling the truth. Tane meets up with Felicity. Cash interrupts them but later tells Felicity it's good she has someone to talk to and the pair kiss. Ryder tells Theo he's ending their challenges. Ari approaches an oblivious Matthew on the pier.

Tane and Felicity go to Salt on a date. Mackenzie apologises for accusing Felicity of stalking him but also advises them both to stay away from each other without success. Marilyn is refusing to leave hospital, convinced the doctors are conspiring to make her look mad. Irene and Justin convince her staying there proves them right, but she gives Mackenzie a serve on Logan's behalf, then leaves a message for Alf saying she's scared. Ari tries to warn Matthew off but he meets with Chloe anyway. Chloe refuses to follow Mia's instruction to stay away from him.

Mia is left worried about Chloe, who continues to ignore her instructions and spend time with Matthew, getting into an argument with Ryder about cancelling the orders. Alf returns and finds Marilyn apparently her old self, but Irene puts him straight when he accuses her of judging her. Matthew gives Chloe the money to pay off her half of the debt and Ryder agrees to sign the business over to her. Ari and Mia find Matthew outside the house to pick up Chloe and Ari punches him.

Tane helps restrain Ari and Chloe leaves with Matthew. A comment she makes causes Matthew to realise Ari has been to prison and he warns Mia he will have him charged with assault unless she lets him spend time with Chloe. Alf sees the change in Marilyn when she is hostile towards Logan. Irene fills him in and Alf tries taking Logan to see Marilyn but she refuses to speak to him. Cash tries to talk to Felicity, explaining to Jasmine that every day he goes to a memorial for their father alone. Felicity still refuses to go with him and explains to Tane that she doesn't ...

Cash reflects to Jasmine on going without Felicity. Felicity offers to go with Cash if he investigates their father's death but he considers it pointless. They say a fond farewell, leaving Jasmine and Tane to keep an eye on her. Alf convinces Marilyn to talk to Logan, who suggests a stay in hospital. When Roo returns, Marilyn learns Martha needs a transplant and is being transferred to Northern Districts. She agrees to go to the psychiatric hospital. Nikau prepares for his first day as a lifesaver but John assigns him a long list of maintenance jobs. Alf and Roo get Martha settled in at Northern Districts and Logan reveals it might be possible for her to have dialysis at home. Dean's attitude towards Logan is causing problems for Mackenzie so Logan ends up visiting him with pizza and beer to smooth things over. Theo tricks Nikau into letting him steal the Polaris and films himself taking it for a joyride. He is accosted at home by John and Justin, who point out they could report him to the police.

John and Justin attempt to discipline Nikau for stealing the buggy. Ryder videos John giving Theo a dressing down. John tries to get Theo to work at the surf club as punishment but it results in him and Nikau getting into a fight. After Nikau apologises, John agrees to him staying on as lifeguard. Alf and Roo are trying to bring Martha home but it will mean buying a dialysis machine. Ryder overhears and agrees to do the challenges again with Theo. Martha is taken for scans and Roo goes to find out what's going on.

Roo interrupts Logan and Mackenzie to ask him about Martha. They learn that Kieran isn't a match. Alf is perturbed when Martha starts talking about funeral arrangements and meets with the hospital chaplain, Father Neil. Marilyn is discharged from hospital but struggles to get her old life back. Ryder and Theo discuss their next challenge and Mackenzie points out they aren't appealing to female subscribers. Justin thinks Theo needs a distraction and decides to teach him to surf, buying him his own board. Roo tells Logan she's a match.

Ziggy learns Dean sold the board he won the surf comp with and determines to get it back. She finds Justin bought it for Theo. Ryder suggests she and Theo take part in a challenge to see who gets who's board. Ziggy wins after challenging him to change a tyre fastest. Roo tells Alf and Martha about being a match but Martha isn't sure about taking a kidney from her and Alf suspects she hasn't given it enough thought. Logan is cleared by the tribunal. He takes Dean out swimming to help him surf again. Dean is annoyed to learn Ziggy has the board.

Bella and Nikau are struggling to pay for a meal in Salt, while Ziggy and Dean are at odds. John gives them both advice and Ziggy accepts she shouldn't have interfered, returning the board to Justin. Alf warns Roo about thinking through the donation seriously. When she encounters psychologist Emma Pizzuti, she ends up admitting she's scared of losing Martha again. Jasmine is struggling with looking after Felicity and after spending the afternoon drinking with her, dumps her on Tane at the gym. Felicity makes a nuisance of herself and sneaks off. Chloe invites Matthew over for dinner to try and smooth things over with Ari and Mia. However, Mia leaves the table upset when Matthew refers to them briefly seeing each other. Matthew offers to get Chloe into business school. Marilyn tells Alf she's going away for a while to reset. John texts Nikau asking him to reconsider and, after a chat with Bella, he calls him back. Irene finds Mia having a panic attack. Tane learns Ari found Felicity asleep outside the house and she shares her memories of her family with him. She tries to get him to come away with her but he and Jasmine convince her to stay and see Cash. Chloe tells Ari and Mia she has enrolled in business college in the city and is going to live with Matthew. Mia threatens to tell Chloe her version of what happened if Matthew doesn't leave but he thinks she's bluffing. Mia realises she has to tell her.

Nikau is back working as a lifeguard but is giving John the cold shoulder. Mia tells Chloe about Matthew forcing himself on her. Chloe leaves the house in horror, but after a talking to from Bella, she makes things up with Mia. Nikau snaps at John when he objects to him taking time off. Cash returns but avoids Felicity, telling Jasmine he can prove how their father died. He shows Felicity the autopsy report that determined he committed suicide, leaving her upset.

Mackenzie continues to hide Dean's attempt to surf again from Ziggy. Justin mentions Dean and Simone have had a boy, leaving Ziggy feeling everyone is moving on except her. Nikau smooths things over with John. Felicity accepts her father committed suicide but tells Cash she needs space. Bella realises Logan has moved in, which Mackenzie forgot to mention. She gets an advance from John to contribute to rent and she and Mackenzie strike a deal to roster use of living areas. Logan tells Mackenzie he's going to move out.

Mackenzie fills Dean and Ziggy in on Logan's comments and Logan later explains that he doesn't want to live in a share house. Ziggy is still down about Brody's news but perks up when she sees Dean surf for the first time since his accident. Alf visits the hospital chapel as Roo wrestles with her decision about the transplant. After a chat with Irene, Roo tells Alf and Martha she'll go through with the donation. Ari tells Chloe he's going to propose to Mia and has Nikau and Tane prepare a hangi in preparation. Mia gladly accepts.

Ryder and Theo make plans for their next challenge. Roo tells Alf and Martha there's a slot for the kidney transplant tomorrow. Ryder visits and sees the coffin brochure and ropes Theo into a new challenge: Ryder will be buried alive for five hours, live streamed, with Theo watching over him. Ari, Mia and Chloe celebrate the engagement. Chloe ignores calls from Matthew and blocks his number. He turns up in person but she isn't interested in his version of events.
