Hendrik visits a doctor with Evert, only to hear some grim news. The 'Omanido-society' is worried about Evert. Meanwhile, they are trying to improve the nursing home during the first meeting of the residents' committee.

A new inhabitant of the nursing home is causing some excitement. Leonie and Hendrik are preparing a trip to France, which is not appreciated by directress Stelwagen.

Despite everybody is worried about Evert's health, the The 'Omanido-society' is making the daring trip to France.

Evert has made his choice, which is difficult for Hendrik to cope with. It seems the nursing home is meant to be transformed into a refugee center, which raises questions about the future of the 'Omanido-society'.

During the heat of the summer Hendrik and his friends are trying to find some comfort in the swimming pool, whilst stolen tableware continues to preoccupy the rumors in the nursing home.

Hendrik had a brawl with Evert and they're both still angry about it. There are rumors that the nursing home will be closed soon and Hendrik's friends are getting letters saying they have to move.

Hendrik is hospitalized as a result of an accident and he wants to make it up with Evert. At the same time the enforced moving of the nursing home residents is irreversibly began.

Hendrik and his friends are mourning because of Evert. To make things worse, nurse Coby de Roos starts to investigate a crime Hendrik would have committed.

Hendrik is one of the last residents of the nursing home; many were already forced to move. When it seems Hendrik is heading for a lonely Christmas, it suddenly turns out Evert had some final surprises.
