Gun - Season 1 (1997)

A family moving from Los Angeles has their life turned upside down when thugs try to rob the convenience store where they have briefly stopped.

On his last case, a cop played by Martin Sheen knows that the murderer of a Japanese businessman was the man's wife, but he can't make a move until he finds the murder weapon.

Rosanna Arquette plays a housewife who has an affair with an author suffering from writer's block. Complicating matters is her overprotective husband, played by James Gandolfini, who owns a gun that could be used as evidence against a terrorist.
