Guess How Much I Love You: The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare - Season 1 (2012)

Little Nutbrown Hare wakes early one Summer morning before the sun has risen. Big Nutbrown Hare sends Little Nutbrown Hare off to invite his friends for breakfast so he can rest a little longer. Along the way Little Nutbrown Hare discovers how wonderful and different all his friends homes are. Will Little Nutbrown Hare still love his own home as much as he did?

One morning in the early Springtime, Little Nutbrown Hare wakes to find the air filled with a delightful smell. He and Little Field Mouse search all over the meadow, the woods and by the riverside to find the source of the wonderful smell. They discover all kinds of new and unexpected Spring scents - sweet, pretty and fresh, but will they find the one they are searching for?

One clear Spring night, Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse settle in to enjoy Little White Owl's story of adventure and treasures. Inspired by her tale, the two set out to try and touch the most special treasure of all - a shiny star. They climb higher and higher but the beautiful stars seem just out of reach. Will they find a way to get their wish?

Little Nutbrown Hare befriends a little yellow fluffy creature by the river, and it follows him everywhere, quacking and copying his every move. It's too little to speak and doesn't look like any creature Little Nutbrown Hare or his friends have seen before. How will he return it to its parents if he doesn't know what kind of creature it is?

Little Nutbrown Hare watches as Blue Bird's eggs hatch into three happy, chirpy baby birds. Fascinated and charmed by these youngsters, he visits them every day and even helps teach them to sing, play and fly. But how will he feel when Summer is on its way and they are ready to fly the nest and make homes of their own?

It's Spring blossom season and the pretty pink blossoms that come floating down the stream remind Big Nutbrown Hare of a magnificent cherry tree from his youth. He sets off cross- country to find it, with Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse, but the journey is longer and harder than he remembered. Will the blossoms floating downstream give them a clue as to a shorter way home?

Little Nutbrown Hare finds a very special feather with bright colours, spots and soft tickly bits. Just as he shows off to his friends how it can fly and float, a cheeky bird flies away with it. Little Grey Squirrel climbs her tree and discovers the bird using it to feather her nest. Will Little Nutbrown Hare find a way to get his feather back, or will he decide that the bird needs it more than he does?

One Spring morning a cute spotty ladybird lands on Little Nutbrown Hare and seems to want to stay with him. All his friends admire the interesting little creature and he feels very special indeed. When she eventually flies away Little Nutbrown Hare follows her, wanting her back. But he understands why she left when he discovers she has lots of tiny spotty babies.

It is a sunny spring day in the meadow and Little Nutbrown Hare is enjoying all it has to offer. The day wears on a heavy grey cloud which forces Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse to seek shelter from the rain.

Little Nutbrown Hare is disappointed when a trail of ants disappears with the delicious Spring berries he's found. He's convinced that ants are not very nice, and only after Big Nutbrown Hare explains how the ants were probably taking the berries home to their families does Little Nutbrown Hare forgive them. And when he sees how clever the ants are, he soon wants to be like them.

On Summer's hottest night Little Nutbrown Hare finds it hard to sleep. When a swim in the river isn't enough to cool him down, Little Nutbrown Hare and his friends ask Little White Owl to tell them a really cold and sleepy bedtime story. Will she come up with a story that can make them feel cool and finally get Little Nutbrown Hare off to sleep?

Little Nutbrown Hare decides he wants a clever long tail like his friends, rather than a short fluffy one. They help out by making him a long tail but all the results are either too tickly, bendy or flappy.

On a cold but sunny morning in the middle of Winter, Little Nutbrown Hare discovers his friends ice-skating on the frozen pond. He decides to give it a try but slips, slops and slides all over the ice. Will he persevere for long enough to be able to perfect his own unique style, or will he be put off by the natural skill of his friends?

One Summer's day Little Field Mouse is very excited to show Little Nutbrown Hare her new favourite thing, a very pretty flower - the prettiest ever. She lets Little Nutbrown Hare borrow it to show Big Nutbrown Hare, but when it blows away during the night Little Nutbrown Hare worries how his friend will react. Will he be able to work up the courage to tell her what happened?

Trying to keep cool on a sticky Summer's day by the stream, Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare have lots of fun skipping stones and throwing sticks. When Little Nutbrown Hare discovers that sticks float, the two follow the sticks down the river to see where they go. It's not an easy chase, and there is a surprise around every corner. Where will the sticks end up?

Summer is at its hottest and Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse want to run and play but the sun is just too hot and strong. That's until Little Grey Squirrel gives them both a wonderful present, big leafy parasols. When he later changes his mind and takes Little Nutbrown Hare's parasol back, the little hare is naturally disappointed. Can the friends find a way for all of them to be happy?

Summer in the meadow is a great time to find tasty snacks to eat. Big Nutbrown Hare seems to know all the best tricks and hiding spots for the yummy treats and Little Nutbrown Hare can't help but wish he was as big and smart as his father. However, he soon finds out that there are some things a little Nutbrown Hare can teach a Big Nutbrown Hare.

When Little Nutbrown Hare sees Blue Bird building a nest, he thinks it looks like fun, so he and Little Field Mouse build one themselves. But it's a bit too scratchy and tickly for them to get comfortable in. They give it to their friends to try out, but they also find it not quite right. Will anybody find their nest cozy and useful?

Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare decide to trade places for a day and discover the benefits and responsibilities of being an adult or a child. During their adventures that day, they both learn an important lesson about each other.

Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse innocently pick lots of Spring flowers from a field and deliver bunches to their friends. When they realise that they are being followed everywhere by a cloud of yellow butterflies, they realise that the butterflies need the flowers, to feed from their nectar. How will they lead the little butterflies to more flowers and sweet nectar?

A Summer storm sweeps across the valley and a nervous Little Nutbrown Hare and his friends scamper into a cave with Big Nutbrown Hare. They are all safe and dry in the cave, but the thunder outside is still scary. Big Nutbrown Hare explains that noises can't hurt you.

A lazy Summer's day brings a wonderful discovery for Little Nutbrown Hare; a tree full of bright, beautiful, tasty plums! Little Nutbrown Hare isn't the only one enjoying the juicy summer fruit, it seems like every animal in the meadow has come for a taste. As the Summer goes on the plums disappear and Little Nutbrown Hare begins to wonder what all the animals will do without them.

Little Nutbrown Hare awakes to find the leaves changing colour and falling off the trees, the flowers dropping off the bushes and the tadpoles turning into frogs. Autumn is here and it's time for change. Little Nutbrown Hare misses the joys of the Summer meadow. Will he discover that Autumn has it's own delights?

One bright moonlit Autumn night, the Nutbrown Hares are both having trouble sleeping. As they lay quietly in a pile of leaves they listen to the sounds of the night - swish, hoot, wobble, nibble, croak and splash. They go on a journey to discover what's making the interesting night noises, but will they work out what sound the moon makes?

Among the newly fallen Autumn leaves Little Nutbrown Hare finds a very peculiar little, hairy, green - 'something'. Intrigued by what it might be Little Nutbrown Hare asks all his friends, but they all have different answers. It is certainly a very useful 'something', great for back scratching and games but it takes Little Grey Squirrel to solve the mystery.

Crisp Autumn days are perfect for collecting pretty golden leaves and playing hide and boo. Little Nutbrown Hare is so excited that he accidently promises to play with two different games with two different friends on the same day. He can't be in two places at once, so how will he keep both his promises and both his friends happy?

A fun, spooky tale from little White Owl leaves the friends a little on edge, so when they hear strange noises in the pumpkin patch, they wonder what kind of creepy creature might be lurking there with them. Will Big Nutbrown Hare be able to convince them not to let their imaginations run away with them?

The friends are all playing together in the Autumn meadow. Little Redwood Fox inadvertently spoils all the games of the day, but the others put their heads together and come up with a game that suits her perfectly.

It's a fine Autumn day and it seems that all of the meadow creatures are out enjoying the sun. Little Nutbrown Hare is surprised that Big Nutbrown Hare knows every single creature in the meadow. He sets out to trick him into believing there is a brand new animal - called a 'Grrr-umph', which he cleverly creates out of shadows. Will Big Nutbrown Hare be tricked?

Little Nutbrown Hare discovers that everyone else can whistle but him - the birds, Little Grey Squirrel, Otter and even the wind in the river reeds. Inspired by the wind, he practices really hard and eventually learns to blow through a reed himself to make it whistle. He and his friends make a beautiful and eerie whistling symphony amongst the reeds.

Chilly Autumn winds blow as Little Nutbrown Hare chases the beautiful fallen leaves. When one wafts so high that only a bird could catch it Little Nutbrown Hare wishes he could fly as well. He and Little Field Mouse try every way they can think of to fly, without luck. They have fun trying, however, and along the way they discover they have their own very special talents.

Little Nutbrown Hare falls into a muddy Autumn puddle and is delighted when he startles Little Grey Squirrel, who doesn't recognize him at first. This starts a great new game of 'Surprise!' as they dress up in disguises to surprise the others. But they weren't ready for Little Field Mouse, who works out a clever way of surprising her friends even more.

When Little Nutbrown Hare discovers that he has grown a thick Winter coat, he and Little Field Mouse make a coat from moss to help other creatures in the meadow stay warm. They discover that everyone has their own ways of coping in the colder months, but Big Nutbrown Hare uses the coat as a picnic rug on the snow so they can enjoy a Winter feast.

Little Nutbrown Hare tries to jump high enough to reach a last Autumn apple on a high branch. Unable to reach it, even with the help of Little Field Mouse, he gives up. But after watching some little salmon struggling to swim up a waterfall he decides to 'think like a fish' and try, try, try again until he reaches the tasty prize.

On a snowy Winter's morning Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse are amazed at the intricate patterns they find in the snowflakes, each one different from the others. The friends try to take one to show Big Nutbrown Hare, but they always melt before he sees them. Will they find a way to stop the lovely flakes from melting?

One Autumn day Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse convince Little Grey Squirrel to leave his pile of spotted acorns unattended, so they can all play with the crunchy leaves. While they're gone Little Redwood Fox discovers the yummy acorns and takes them home. Once she finds out they actually belong Little Grey Squirrel, she has to decide whether to give them back or keep them.

The first snowfall of the Winter blankets the entire meadow, and Little Nutbrown Hare is confused because he can no longer see the bush, the log or his seedpod ball under all the snow. Will Little Nutbrown Hare be able to find his way around the meadow now that all his familiar places are covered under a blanket of fresh white snow?

Little Nutbrown Hare is fascinated that his friend Little Grey Squirrel is going to stay in his dray all Winter long. He and Little Field Mouse decide to hibernate in the hollow log until Spring, but soon become bored and fidgety. Little Field Mouse gives up and plays in the snow. Will Little Nutbrown Hare manage to stay inside, or will he be tempted out as well?

Little Nutbrown Hare follows some unusual tracks in the snow that eventually lead him to a shy little spotty deer. He plays with his new friend every day, until she has to leave again with her mother to search for food. Little Nutbrown Hare is sad to see her go, but he's also glad that he has friends that stay in the meadow all year round.

After a long quiet winter in the meadow Little Nutbrown hare announces that he can't wait for winter to be over so he can enjoy the other seasons with their special treats to see, hear and taste. Will the sound of icicles tinkling in the wind, the taste of a frozen Winter berry and some very unusual tracks in the snow convince the little hare that Winter is just as special as the other seasons?

Little Nutbrown Hare is impressed by Blue Bird's description of a flowery field that looks just like a sea of colour from her bird's eye view. He visits the field with Big Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse, and they discover that everyone has their own unique view of the field, and each one is special in its own way.

The snow in the meadow is so deep that Little Nutbrown Hare has to stay under the Old Oak tree. Wondering what he is going to do all day in deep snow and with no one to play with, his imagination soon takes over as he creates new kinds of fun. By the time his friends reach him, Little Nutbrown Hare can't believe how the time has flown.

Little Nutbrown Hare is very proud of a Christmas Tree he has built from pine cones. So proud, that when Little Field Mouse accidentally knocks it over he has trouble forgiving her. When he makes a mistake of his own, Big Nutbrown Hare forgives him immediately, and he understands how important it is to forgive.

Seeing his tracks in the fresh snow inspires Little Nutbrown Hare to create a new game called 'snow seek'. The friends have a lot of fun creating tracks for Little Nutbrown Hare to follow, but Little Redwood Fox's tracks completely disappear and so does she. When Big Nutbrown Hare reports that Little Redwood Fox was sighted walking backwards, they work out how she managed to trick them all.

Little Field Mouse finds a sparkly rock and announces that it's treasure. Little Nutbrown Hare wants a sparkly treasure too, so they set about finding him one that night, by the silvery light of the full moon. Together, they discover that treasure is found in the most unexpected places. When a very ordinary looking rock cracks open to reveal sparkly crystals inside, Little Nutbrown Hare realises that things are not always what they seem.

Little Nutbrown Hare and Little Field Mouse go on a long trip with Big Nutbrown Hare to find some food he hid away during the warmer months. Little Nutbrown Hare plays with a stick along the way, which turns out to have many uses, one of which is helping them find the food and another is finding their way home again.
