Family Business - Season 1 (2017)

A desperate woman asks Audrey to help her troubled fiancé, whose overbearing mother has had him committed to a mental institution against his will. While Audrey gets closer to handsome prosecutor Eric Leroy, Astrid is forced to end her affair with the president of the bar association.

Astrid represents a doctor when one of his wife's patients claims to be his biological daughter. Audrey's partner, Paul, wants to move their family to the country, but Audrey is busy handling an unusual case of digital adultery. Sofia's gambling debts catch up to her when she is caught mishandling a check for 12,000 euros.

An elderly widower with Alzheimer's hires Audrey to convince his estranged children to help with his medical expenses. Sofia, up to her eyeballs in debt, plays a dangerous game when she agrees to counsel an incarcerated crime boss who wants his kids to visit.

Audrey and Paul marry, but the festivities are cut short when Sofia is taken into police custody at the reception. Unable to represent Sofia herself, Astrid hires a rival lawyer for her defense. With the firm in chaos, Audrey handles a pair of former clients who now want a divorce.

Eric asks Audrey to defend a troubled teenager with drug trafficking charges, but since he requested emancipation from his mother, he could be tried as an adult. Meanwhile, Sofia anxiously awaits sentencing from the commission.
