Escape to the Chateau - Season 6 (2019)

It is winter and time to return to the chateau. Dick and Angel build a new events kitchen with a half-tonne oven. There is a magical birthday party for young Dorothy.

It is spring at the chateau and Dick has an ambitious plan to put a boat in the moat. Angel tackles some ancient wallpaper while Dick wrestles with an old rake in the meadow.

It is the wedding season and Dick and Angel are at their busiest while also trying to deal with a circus tent, two giant aviaries and planting water lilies.

In the middle of weddings Angel organizes the wedding anniversary of her parents and Dick's oldest son giving a hand. Dick gets the family an Asquith Mascot van that he plans to transform into a family holiday van.

It is the end of the summer. Dick and Angel host an event at the chateau featuring a fleet of vintage Citroen vans. Dick and Angel work on a vehicle of their own, an ex-wedding bus they call 'Mademoiselle Daisy'.

Chestnut picking, as well as renovation of the Coach House. Phase 3 consists of converting the tack room to a grand entrance, which will have a staircase leading to Grandma's Cafe. The kids yearly growth rates are noted.

As Autumn arrives at the chateau, Dick and Angel start a new project, turning a 35-foot eight ton riverboat into luxury guest accommodation, with bespoke fabrics and decking.

After another very busy year, Dick and Angel prepare for Christmas at Chateau de la Motte-Husson. Dick with Arthur and father-in-law drive over 200 miles to the coast for a very important French menu item. The festive menu includes delicious home-made treats, and Angel creates some beautiful crafts. Dick treats himself to a very useful piece of equipment. They share their festivities with friends and family. Even Papa Noel makes a visit for the children.
