Hanni gets engaged with her boyfriend Franzi. Her brother Karli is looking for an apartment with his fiancee Irmi. Their father Mundl is upset because of a lost weightlifting competition. At the end the family plans vacations in Italy.

Mundl becomes unemployed because he insulted his boss. The planned vacations in Italy cannot take place because Mundl's wife Toni urges him to look for a new job, At the end they whole family meets at a pond for bathing.

Irmi and Karli want to marry and are looking for an apartment. Irmi's parents would like to meet the Sackbauer family (Karli's parents). Mundl gets a new job.
