Dream On - Season 3 (1992)

Martins solicits an author dying of AIDS to write his final book, and ends up befriending him.

Martin is on top of the world. He has edited a best selling book and is dating a gorgeous blond whom he dominates after office hours. However, due to a recession Gibby has to cut his salary by 7%. Martin leaves Whitestone and tries the open market.

Martin coughs up a kidney for Richard.. for Judith.

Jeremy has a new girlfriend, a "bad girl", and Martin disapproves but when he meets her mother, he himself realizes that bad girls can be quite seductive.

Gibby's green card is expiring and he is afraid he might be deported back to Australia. A possible way to extend his stay would be to marry an American citizen.

Martin's parents come to visit for Jeremey's birthday but they have a surprise for Martin as well. They have decided to divorce.

Martin and Eddie meet Alisha at an awards banquet and end up in her hotel room.

Martin meets Elliot Sterns, an author he admires, and persuades him to let him be his editor with a new book, after a fruitless period of ten silent years. Only to find out that Elliot is out of words and full of cheap lies.

Martin has a new girlfriend who just came out of a relationship. Martin tries to show understanding and give her the space she needs but then the ex is back only for Martin to find out she's - a girl and a persistent rival.

Martin has a new girlfriend. He introduces her to Eddie, but these two seem to repel each other. But then again, hate and love are two very similar feelings.

Judith and Martin sit down to split up the family pictures and that brings memories, both good and less happy ones.

A co-worker dies and Martin gets scared. Suddenly, he wants to know how much time he has left himself and decides to visit a medium.

Martin sees his baby cousin for the first time in years and she's all grown up. Their elderly aunt catches them kissing and has a mild heart attack. She tells them she had similar feelings and reminds the kids to not act on them.

Martin is confronted with a shredded a book and himself together with Toby and the author spend endless hours in the weekend, trying hard to put it back together and have it ready for Gibby, on Monday morning.

Martin insists on throwing Eddie a bachelor party, despite the protests of Eddie himself and most everyone else. It goes poorly with everyone not drinking or enjoying themselves, until the stripper arrives. Then it gets even worse.

Martin is missing condoms and learns Jeremy is starting to grow up. Judith seems calm until it finally strikes home he might actually have sex.

Martin gets involved with Carmella, Judith's beautiful maid, and even though Carmella herself is happy with her job, Martin isn't and that complicates things.

A huge rat has invaded Martin's apartment and he can't seem to get rid of the hideous creature.

An old friend asks Martin for his sperm so she can have a baby.

A new guy at the publishing house threatens to destroy Martin with underhanded moves, until he enlists friends to fight back.

Martin is seeing a college girl but then he meets her mother and has a crash on her. The only problem he has to overcome now is that she hates him.

Martin's relation with Kate is dreamy except for the sex where there seems to be space for improvement.

Kate moves in with Martin. When she realizes Judith still has a key to the apartment, she asks Martin to tell Judith to hand it back but Judith won't go down without a fight.
