Don Matteo - Season 3 (2002)

El secuestro. Don Matteo is taken as hostage by a woman accused of murder. He convinces her to prove she is innocent instead of running away.

El pasado vuelve. A married man who had a lover is found dead and his wife is accused of murder. When wife's mother - a former child friend of Don Matteo- declares herself guilty he decides to investigate.

Pánico escénico. A theatre stagehand is killed when a suspended train model falls on him. First actress was apparently the objective. She suffers from blackouts and insecurity. The director, his husband, wants her to quit acting.

In Italian with English subtitles. A famous American actress is found dead in a health spa, apparently murdered. The police immediately suspect her young daughter, with whom she had a lot of conflicts. Don Matteo has his own theory.

El encargo. A former librarian is almost murdered by a man with a crossbow during Gubbio's Palio della Balestra celebration. Don Matteo saves him but the librarian's attitude makes him suspect he is hiding some secret.

La más bella. A fashion photographer returns to Gubbio to make a photo shoot with some fashion models. One of them is found dead. Being hated by the other models, may one of them be the murderer?

Misterio en la abadía. While staying in a spiritual retreat a man is found dead. Don Matteo is doing a retreat too and is asked by the bishop to investigate. May one of the monks be the killer?

El testigo. A boy is helping a fugitive to hide. When he finds him dead decides not to say a word to avoid he and his father being killed. But police know he is a witness and try to force him to talk.

Natalina's in love, but the lucky man is strange and Don Matteo has suspicions about his motives.

Tres bodas y un papa Noel. A woman is killed in what seems a robbery and a former thief is arrested. He swears he is innocent and that he left robbery for good. Woman's husband owns a gym and Don Matteo registers to investigate.

El rey del ajedrez. During a human size chess competition a man is shot in his leg. Later on two more men and a woman are shot, all of them in the leg. Don Matteo suspects there is a connection between them and the shooter.

La carta anónima. A man jumps out of the window after receiving a blackmail letter. Then, many people in Gubbio start receiving similar letters.

El vuelo. During a hang gliding competition a contestant dies. Police discover someone did sabotage his hang-glider.
