Doctor Doctor - Season 2 (1989)

Mike is named an eligible bachelor and pretty every single woman is coming on to him. And it causes problems for him with his girlfriend.

Mike gets in way over his head when he saves the life of a beautiful award-winning photographer, and soon falls for her advances. Meanwhile, Abe endures Grant's medical advice when the partnership insurance physicals come due.

Mike's gay brother Richard, an English professor, gives some much-needed help to Grant in writing a speech. In the process, they become fast friends, leading some to wonder about the nature of their relationship. Meanwhile, Mike, Abe and Deirdre have trouble resisting a medical salesman's pitch.

College mate Peter Balcovske is coming for a visit. The gang recalls Mike's first encounter with Peter during an eventful study session.

Mike can't understand Deirdre's extremely negative reaction upon learning that her patient, "Wake Up Providence" host Hugh Persons, is HIV-positive... until she confesses her fear that she may also be infected.

Abe is in the doghouse. His wife Gail is hiding a secret with Mike. Deirdre decides to go to the wild side and finds unwanted attention.

Abe has recruited a reluctant Deirdre into a softball tournament. Mike takes Grant to a dinner with his estranged aunt Laura (Susan Sullivan). Then Laura and Grant start getting serious.

Mike is helping his pregnant patient Alicia to find adoptive parents for her baby. Deirdre is angry that her married boyfriend Steve is cheating on her, not with his wife but with a new girlfriend.

Mike is dating Barbara who is working on her divorce. He hates that Deirdre is still dating the married Steve, only to be shocked by a crazy coincidence.

When a doctor appears on the show to peddle a new plan he invented. Mike says it's just a fad and not effective. But the producer who uses it, decides to side with the doctor and ousts Mike.

Mike develops a hernia after doing an exercise demonstration with Pia on the morning TV show. He needs surgery but is afraid to get it.

Abe is angry at Deirdre after she sold him a lemon of a car. Grant brings in his date Dr. Rose Hulse. Mike starts dating Rose before Grant breaks up with her.
