Det som göms i snö - Season 1 (2018)

Peter Wendel is appointed head of Stockholm metro-police's cold case unit, but only washouts want to work under the notorious paranoid grump, whose ambitious separated wife Ann-Marie just became logistic advisor to the new justice minister, the former attorney general. His own family believes him paranoid, refusing to accept his brother Urban committed suicide. His first case is an informal request to check up on the old cases of a serial killer who is innocent according to the unidentified murderer of his reputed lawyer.

Peter Wendel panics as a knife exactly like the one stolen from his kitchen was used to murder the convicted serial killer's lawyer. However contrary to his fears, it shows none of his fingerprints. Meanwhile his unbelieving family turns against him.

Once the truth about the murder weapon gets out, Peter becomes a suspect. Jorma and Caijsa make a horrible discovery in the paedophile's house which has major consequences.
