As Mark, Jesse, and Madame Ruby deal with the fall out from the previous episode, hard truths are learned in unexpected ways. Meanwhile, Genevieve's plan continues unopposed, and Mark faces a danger he never expected. A surprise in the morgue shocks the medical examiner, and Sergio and Zander reveal there is more to them than meets the eye.

Derek tries to learn more about his new reality while Mark remains blissfully unaware of the danger in his own home. And Genevieve deals with failure.

Genevieve seeks a deal with Gourmand while Derek and Mark find themselves at odds for the first time in their partnership.

Derek and Mark's friendship is put to the test in the most tragic of ways, while both Genevieve and Gourmand discover they cannot run from their pasts.

It has been several months since our season finale, we check in on Derek as he tries to complete a simple task, despite constant interruptions from his friends, family, and loved ones. He soldiers on, much to everyone's surprise, including his own.

It's Christmas and all has seemingly grown quiet amidst the celebrations, much to Derek's chagrin. While Mark tries to get Derek in the holiday spirit, Genevieve turns to old magick to try to get Mark's heart. Meanwhile, Derek and Mark's friends and family all find ways to celebrate while they still can.
