Deep State - Season 2 (2019)

True to her word, Aminata Sissoko reunites Aïcha with her family, but as she does, Harry and Leyla are faced with a crisis; Harry turns to Miller and makes a deal to ensure their safety.

Harry, Aïcha and Leyla are chased out of Bamako and driven, out of necessity, to return to Al Moctar's camp, where Aïcha is taken away to be hanged for a past crime. In the search for the trio, Jones reveals the Collins tape to Miller, who is furious. He returns to Washington where he goes above Kingsley's head to Hal Weaver, the man behind the deep state, to work out how to nullify it.

With Aïcha being dragged to a scaffold, Harry must plead his case and convince Al Moctar to hold off.

Al Moctar's base is attacked. Amanda Jones is feeling vulnerable. Senator Sulivan continues her investigation. Leyla, Aisha and Harry investigate where the arms are coming from. Miller makes some hard choices.

Sulivan continues her investigation even though suffering great loss. Leyla, Aisha and Aminata investigate the arms link. Harry tries to protect Leyla. Amanda executes her survival plan. Miller faces the consequences of being in too deep.
