The I-45 freeway between Houston and Galveston threads a dangerous land.Over 30 young girls have gone missing here, some have turned up dead, in a place called The Killing Field. It's paradise for serial killers. Time for Paradise to get shut down.

In the spring of 1992 a serial killer cut a swathe through the Mid West. Six victims across three states, shot execution style. The victims all worked in small stores just blocks from the I-70. Why the freeway? Why did he start, and what made him stop?

Not all killers prowl lonely places. In Florida there is one killer who hunts where many of us go every day. In March and December 2007 two women were shot dead as they left the same shopping mall. A robbery gone wrong? Or the work of a serial killer?

The case reads like a Hollywood slasher flick. Four young couples at remote lover's lanes, attacked in their cars by a serial killer who may be posing as a cop. One thing's for sure: the truth in this case is definitely stranger than fiction.
