Damo - Season 1 (2003)

Yoon deals with Chaeok's sudden resignation as the counterfeiting investigation experiences problems. Chaeok sees the opportunity to regain a job with the police after Yoon encourages her during an incident.

This HDTV drama is a heart piercing love story with fast paced spectacular martial art scenes to capture the viewers' eyes. In Chosun Dynasty, there was a group of women called "Damo" meaning 'police woman'. The heroine of the drama, Chaeok is a young and courageous Damo, an outstanding swordfighter. She hunts for Sungbaek, the protester of society, but at the same time, she cannot help herself feeling love for this mysterious man full of charisma.

Chaeok finds a way of secretly relaying information about the undercover investigation to a waiting Won Hae. Chi Oh Cho takes over the position of captain from Yoon and Sung Baek questions Chaeok.

Yoon thinks something may be very wrong with Chaeok and receives no help from Captain Cho. Chaeok fights with Su Myeong but her current condition makes it hard to win.

Sung Baek extends an offer to Chaeok but she quickly refuses. Chaeok feels guilty for the death of Chi Oh Cho and attempts to have a discussion with King Sookjong.

The king decides that Chaeok has valuable information and frees Yoon. A sad Yoon tries to save the ailing Chaeok from her serious medical problem but the doctor has no treatment.

Chaeok grieves for her parents and Sung Baek hears news about a woman he believes to be his sister Jae Hee. Yoon reveals his feelings for Chaeok and tells her about his future plans.

Chaeok prepares for Sung Baek and Yoon seeks a final confrontation. Both Sung Baek and Chaeok encounter a dangerous situation when they land at the bottom of a large hole.

Yoon is upset about advice from Won Hae before he receives orders concerning moving to Dosung. Poison from a bite threatens to kill Chaeok until Sung Baek sacrifices his own life to save her.

Chae-Ohk prepares a strategy with the rebels to rescue Sung-Baek from the soldiers, but to pull it off, Chae-Ohk will have to become a hostage of the soldiers in Sung-Baek's place.

In the gripping series finale, the crowning of a new prince is imminent. But a final assault on the palace threatens to change the balance of power, and the lives of everyone involved.
