Chopped - Season 53 (2022)

Four teachers share their passion for cooking and classroom stories while they compete in a competition for the title of Chopped Champion, in which they must find a creative use for a thematic loaf of bread and a surprise ingredient.

The chef's first basket features a cut of pork that you don't see at your every day supermarket and a non-glazed donut, but an unexpected incident in the appetizer around leaves one of the competitors rushing to catch up with the rest.

The chefs are given an extra, colossal ingredient with every round in a challenge that takes a little work to incorporate into their dishes in a way that will impress the judges, but one chef lets their emotions get the better of them.

Four talented grandmothers are put in charge of making a remarkable holiday feast with love in every bite. They open the first basket to find a wreath made of something sweet, but nerves lead to some mistakes and scrambling.
