Connie's awkwardness around Jacob is of secondary importance when he is taken hostage by a man with a bomb, while Marty's attempts to ignore his father's olive branches become more difficult when he is admitted after severing his finger.

Jan and Fenisha are called out to a domestic violence incident on an isolated farm, Lev tries to ignore his and Faith's problems as she recuperates and David is trapped at the ambulance station with Leon.

Fenisha goes into labour in the woods while searching for a critically ill patient who fled hospital, Dylan offers Faith a place to stay after Lev convinces her mother to send her away and Connie struggles to find time for visiting Grace.

Rash and Jade deal with a patient injured in an altercation with the police, Ethan is thrown when Fenisha brings their newborn son in and Grace arranges a date with Leon.

Natalia learns Faith has spent the night with Dylan and ends up putting herself and Ollie in grave danger, while Tina's attempt to help the fiance of her patient places her in Connie's firing line.
