A sex criminal has given gonorrhea to his girlfriend and to his wife who is pregnant. Sam and Tom adjudge their kiss last night meant nothing. Matt has a face off with a bull.

Casualties include a man called Nathan Jones who predictably doesn't get Dylan's Supremes' song title related joke; a family at war; an unhappy former hospital porter known to Big Mac, and Big Mac himself.

Two patients have a history; Lloyd believes he and Tess are lovers.

Casualties include workers at a warehouse. Big Mac gets new porter Pat the sack for thieving; a tearful Linda says goodbye to sister Denise and her children.

Tess saves an Asian from a beating but his assailant is also admitted to ED. Robyn accidentally gets stoned by eating a patient's cannabis laced biscuits.

A cannabis farmer and his two sons are among the casualties. Lloyd says goodbye.

A future Eastenders star is pregnant by her brother in law.

Jeff, Dixie, Norm and Fletch face a nightmare scenario in a block of flats; a shopkeeper is blinded by shoplifters one of which is Ash's daughter.

Ash's daughter returns to the scene of yesterday's crime, this time to get her boyfriend to steal booze for her. Sam observes Tom taking restricted medicines and they have another set to.

Sam moves out of Tom's house; Tom discovers he has a father who is in prison; Robyn helps a woman with a faulty washing machine.

A teenage girl shows off her driving skills by crashing the car she has stolen and injuring her passenger boyfriend; Tom visits his father in jail and ends up treating a convict who goes berserk with a knife; Ash and Zoe remove a sachet of heroin swallowed by another prison inmate; Tess discovers she's expecting Fletch's baby and Fletch sets off on holiday with his wife and three children.

Tom and Jeff may soon need some emergency care themselves as the situation in the prison escalates and they find themselves in danger. Tess treats two sisters. Dixie gets a date with Carol.
