Bella Block kann nicht verhindern, dass sich ein Tatverdächtiger in einem Mordfall vor ihren Augen erschießt. Aber damit ist der Mord an einer Frau noch lange nicht aufgeklärt. Bella ermittelt hartnäckig weiter. Bald führen ihre Ermittlungen zu Bernhard, Simons neuem Freund, der Bella durch seinen Charme beeindruckt.
