A decade-long drought forces Ray Martin to sell the family farm to petroleum magnate Mr.Oily, but Birgit Oestêngärdt has other plans.

Ray Martin gets into a bar fight with two angry peanuts who accuse him of eating one of their cousins. Ray escapes the bar faking Anaphylaxis.

When Dianne Strize comes to Waratah National Park to persuade Ray Martin to enroll Jacinta in a Sydney boarding school, Jacinta and Skippy save Dianne from death by drowning - and Billy D is saved from a fate worse than death.

Ray is told that Mary is well enough to leave the hospital. Bjorn gives the impression that a massage parlour was going to open in the empty shop. This sends Birgit into a dither and she starts a petition to have it stopped.

A doctor meets Ryan and convinces him he has escaped Ray Martin's house with an invisibility ray. Ray Martin hears this and attempts to kidnap Ryan so he can have the invisibility ray for when he goes to the shops.
