Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps - Season 1 (2009)

Angelina meets A.Z., a new student at Camembert Academy; Angelina and Polly accidentally break Mr. Mouseling's fiddle.

Angelina wants her old friend Alice to attend her recital as her special guest, but Alice has an ice-skating event that night. Later, they learn that Alice will also be attending Camembert Academy; Angelina and Alice create a prop for Jackie and the Beanstalk.

Angelina is made a soloist for an upcoming show, but no-one will listen to her ideas. Angelina learns that even soloists have to work as part of a team.

Viki returns from Tippermousy with a disk of Irish music, which Angelina accidentally breaks while learning how to do an Irish jig. Angelina tries to audition for the Mouskinov Ballet.

Angelina and Alice are having a fun day together. It is such fun that they become somewhat absent minded and Angelina turns up for a show without her skates.

Angelina celebrates the grand opening of her dad's new music shop; Ms. Mimi admonishes Angelina for talking in class.

After reading a book about a mouseling with superhero powers, Polly thinks she might have special abilities too; Viki puts together Dance-Like-a-Cake Day, in which dancers must bring a cake associated with a dance, but Angelina's plans may fall flat after her gingerbread house collapses.

Angelina, Viki, and Gracie have a sleepover the night before the Silly Hat Carnival, but stay up too late and then oversleep, causing them to miss an important ballet rehearsal; Ms. Mimi cancels lunchtime rehearsals when Angelina and her friends are too loud, noisy, and messy, leading Angelina to host the rehearsals in her attic dance studio.

Angelina and Marco overindulge in candy canes and gingerbread cookies prior to a performance of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy; Angelina is excited about seeing The Nutcracker and invites two of her friends to go with her but then realizes she only has one extra ticket, so now she has to decide between Alice and Viki.

Angelina, Viki, Gracie and A.Z. work together to develop a dance for class, but Gracie and AZ disagree over what the dance should be, so Angelina must find a way get everyone to agree with each other; Alice adopts the persona of her idol, Russian gymnast Anna Mousikova, after Miss Mimi assigns reports on the mouselings' heroes. Alice became so obsessed with her idol, she distances herself from her friends.

Gracie contemplates copying an established dance for Make-It-All-Up-Day when she cannot come up with one on her own, but Angelina persuades her to improvise a new routine; Angelina has second thoughts about playing the main part in a school play Once Upon a Pillow when she learns her character is asleep for most of the performance.

The mouselings learn about jazz dance, improvisation, and poetry, but when they have to present poems to the entire class Alice develops a serious case of tummy butterflies and Angelina must help Alice with memorizing her poem; Gracie, who has been tap dancing for years, forgets practicing in favor of learning magic.

Angelina tries to support Marco in the Mouse Marathon, which includes forming a cheerleading team to cheer him on, but all the attention unnerves him; Angelina opens her own ballet school in the attic to teach Polly ballet, but her overbearing manner soon causes her sister to quit.

Gracie, Angelina, Viki, and A.Z. think they heard a mysterious tapping noise in Roquefort Hall is from a ghost; Angelina's friendship with Gracie is strained due to the many friends that Angelina has and the limited time she has to spend with each of them.

When Angelina, Viki, and Marco mistakenly think Ms. Mimi is getting married after overhearing her talking on the phone, they learn about wedding marches and organ music in order to make her wedding day special; Angelina receives a Valentine card from a secret admirer.

Angelina helps her dad take pictures of Camembert Academy and its students for a Mouseland Herald story, but the assignment turns difficult because Gracie wants to be in every shot; Angelina helps A.Z. learn the complicated Cheese Roll dance.

When the mouselings cannot agree on the music for a show, Angelina forges a compromise by applying a lesson from a science project; Angelina is set to direct a hip-hop dance show, but it may not go on when A.Z. hurts his foot.

After reading a detective story, Viki is determined to become a good detective herself. When Marco's sheet music disappears, it's the perfect opportunity for her to practice her detective skills and try to find the missing music!

Polly gets a music box in the mail from her grandmother and she falls in love with the waltz music it plays. When Angelina accidentally breaks the special box, she replaces it, but the new music box plays a different type of music. In the end, Polly realizes she can still dance her favourite waltz to the music from her new music box.

Angelina and her friends organize a marathon for the Chipping Cheddar Earth Club as part of their "Camembert Cares" school project. After Gracie accidentally recycles the pledge sheet, Angelina uses her ingenuity to save the day!

When all her friends have an "Eva the Diva" bag, Angelina desperately wants one too. After working hard to earn enough money for one, she discovers that being original and creative is much more exciting than following the crowd.

When Angelina tries to organize her friends in a parade, everything goes wrong! Nobody is working together and the parade is chaotic! Through her resourcefulness, Angelina finds a way to gain control to keep everyone on track.

A.Z. breaks one of his drumsticks, making rehearsal for Angelina's musical impossible, until he discovers another way to keep the beat; Angelina and Polly put on a show for their parents, but the Mouseling's are too tired.

Gracie discovers the joys of Disco Dancing and just can't stop! She even puts dancing over her responsibilities to help her friends. In the end, Gracie learns that she can still dance, have fun, AND help others.

When Angelina, Gracie, Viki and Alice create a girls' club, the boys want to join. At first the girls decide their club should be for girls only, but in the end, they realize the club will be much more fun when everyone is included.

AJ is having trouble dancing in his new jeans, because they are just so uncomfortable! Angelina and Alice help out by creating a whole new way to dance.
