Andy Capp - Season 1 (1988)

Long-suffering Flo leaves Andy, but when she hears he is managing fine, she goes home and throws him out. He asks all over the neighbourhood for a place to sleep, but is refused every time. Finally, Flo lets him back in.

Flo tries her very best to economize, but Andy is finding that he now has more money to spend at the pub. When the furniture is repossessed for the second time in one week, Flo just gives up on the whole idea.

Everyone Andy knows is urging him to do something special for his and Flo's 25th anniversary, but he is not bothered about it, even when all of the bill collectors forfeit this month's payments so that he has the money to really celebrate, but he refuses. He takes Flo to the pub, where she gets so angry that she jumps into the river at low tide. Then she comes back and agrees to go in, where she discovers a surprise party waiting for her.
