Fernando is acting like a tyrant and thinks of his return with his other family. Eulalio has lunch at the restaurant while Lucía is at the church for confession. Mónica runs into Diego at the cemetery and a dirty secret comes to the surface.

Fernando returns and checks into a motel. Elvira believes Lucía never payed the ransom. Diego gets photographed sleeping like a hobo and the González siblings take him in. Cristina urges Adrián to let Lucía have a private life.

A bouquet that Fernando always gave to Lucía appears in the restaurant and everyone starts fussing. Diego demands an explanation from Manuel about a front page article. Eulalio enlightens Néstor on everything that happened to Lucía for these 5 years. Gerardo is ordered to collect the bank loan of Lucía.

Fernando breaks into the house to leave a farewell letter to Lucía but unfortunately his presence is compromised. Meanwhile Mónica, unable to stop thinking of Diego makes a detour to his neighborhood for a chat.

Lucía shows to Luis and Elvira the letter and goes to the bank to settle the matter with the loan. Fernando spends a delightful afternoon with Martha but thinks of his other wife. Andrea punches Octavio in front of the whole school and Adrián. Diego learns about the bank loan from Cristina and Mercedes.

The restaurant is facing foreclosure when Diego stands by Lucía, who refuses to leave quietly. Eulalio uses Adrián' pain to make him face Néstor. Laura settles the incident with Octavio. Fernando declines to take Martha and Natalia on his next job.

Adrián is busted by Nelly during his phone call with Fernando. Roberto and Martha warn Natalia not to believe her half-brother. Diego, David and Julio hatch a plan to record Adrián on a dictaphone. Néstor asks Fanny for forgiveness and changes his will. Andrea and Beatriz visit Lorena at the hospital.

Diego fails to trap Adrián. Néstor is arrested for an attempted murder. Fernando takes a hostage and makes the hospital nurse to bring him his son. Fanny won't help Mónica anymore. Mercedes looks after Eulalio. Lorena is rude and takes it out on Nelly. Andrea is smitten.

Adrián discovers his father' savage and crazy nature. Mónica visits Elvira to collect the money. Lucía and Diego go to the nurse to learn the whole story of Adrián' abduction. Fanny won't help Néstor to get out of jail. Nelly doesn't know what to do with Lorena.

After Diego played his last match, Fernando captures Lucía under the stadium. Meanwhile Adrián annoys Mónica and she decides to set him on fire. Nelly moves in her new home and Lorena has a wonderful time in Paris.
