Grew up in Brooklyn N.Y. [ E.N.Y. Cityline]. Started selling fireworks in Brooklyn at an early age as a early summer job. Became a book & magazine illustrator out of college and moved to California. Started working on rock videos [ Madonna, Tom Petty, Prince] in the Art Dept.. Broke into Special Fx. Was in charge of Special FX on the Tom Petty "Don't Come Around Here No More" video ... it won the MTV Special FX Award. From there he worked as FX Coord. on TV series "Tales From The Dark Side" for two seasons before moving up to movies and six seasons of HBO's "Tales From The Crypt" as FX Coord.. Started B B Effects Inc. and was voted into the Visual Special Effects Branch of "The Academy Of Motion Pictures" in 2002. Still working, laughing, and blowing stuff up on great shows today.
