Sara Prata was born on Sep 09, 1984 in Portugal. Sara Prata's big-screen debut came with Alguém Como Eu directed by Leonel Vieira in 2017.

Sara Prata is considered to be one of the most promising actresses of her generation. Wishing to pursue a career in acting, Sara moved to Cascais by herself at the age of 15, to enroll in a Theatre course. Her efforts proved successful when she scored her first major role in the teen show "Morangos com Açucar", in 2005. From then on, Sara has been a regular face in Portuguese TV, starring in many soap operas such as "Fascínios" or "Belmonte", a Plural/TVI production that was later nominated for an International Emmy. She has also continued her work in the Theatre, starring in plays such as the Portuguese rendition of Broadway's hit "Reasons to be Pretty" and Tennessee Williams' "Sweet Bird of Youth". Finally, Sara has also starred in a few TV movies and the film adaptation of "Morangos com Açúcar". Proving to be a versatile professional, Sara hosted the Men's Health Body of the Year 2015 competition and one of most important fashion shows in Portugal, Moda Lisboa. Most recently, Sara was the winner of the Portuguese version of "Dancing with the Stars", whilst starring in the primetime soap opera "A Única Mulher".
