Saori Sugimoto was born on Nov 17, 1964 in Japan. Saori Sugimoto's big-screen debut came with Fist of the North Star 2 - Season 1 directed by Toyoo Ashida in 1987. Saori Sugimoto is known for The Shimajiro Movie: Shimajiro in Bookland directed by Isamu Hirabayashi, Omi Minami stars as Shimajiro Shimano and Miki Takahashi as Mimi-Lynne. The upcoming new movie Saori Sugimoto plays is Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis which will be released on Oct 29, 2018.

Saori Sugimoto was bornin Kanagawa, Japan. She was an actress, known for Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (1995), She also voiced as Nyakkii Momoyama / Ramurin in the Shimajiro TV series and in the Shimajiro films including, Shimajiro: A Wonderful Adventure (2014), Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis (2017) and Shimajiro to Sora Tobu Fune (2021). Her final voice role is Shimajirou to Kirakira Oukoku no Ouji-sama (2022) which was released one year after her death. She died on October 21, 2021 from anorexia-induced heart failure.
