Minna Brighton

actress, producer, director

Minna Brighton was born on Jan 24, 1979 in Canada. Minna Brighton's big-screen debut came with Louis Grant - Season 1 directed by Todd L. Green in 2012.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Minna is an only child, though most people tell her she doesn't act like one. Both her parents are public servants for the Canadian Government, as was she for six brief months, "That was more than enough for me.", she recalls. After being bitten by the acting bug at age 4, upon completion of a commercial for Crest Toothpaste and the Canadian Dental Association, Minna dove into the world of theatre and television headfirst. This was coupled with years of dance training, and eventually teaching of her beloved Highland Dance. "Fifteen", also known as "Hillside", with Van Wilder and The Proposal star Ryan Reynolds, was Minna's first foray onto the set. After many years in musical theatre, with such roles as "Miss Adalaide" in Guys and Dolls, and the title role in "Johnny Belinda", her favourite to date, this Canadian decided to pack her bags and head to Hollywood. Along with her Art Director husband, David Robert Donatucci, who makes video games for a living, Minna has called California home for the last few years, and is loving the lack of snow. Aside from acting, her other love is traveling. She has thus far explored three continents, and is looking forward to adventuring on her fourth and even fifth as soon as she can.
