Maria Kennedy is owner, co-founder and executive producer of Little Engine Moving Pictures, where she oversees all creative and business aspects of the company's original IP and service production. Little Engine is a creator-driven media company that develops, finances and produces original, innovative live-action hybrid TV series, feature films and companion interactive content for an international audience of Kids and Family. Since 2014, she has secured over 5 million dollars in domestic financing for original series and digital content, and has worked with Canadian partners TVO, CBC, Radio-Canada, TFO, Knowledge Television, SuperChannel, OMNI, CMF Canada Media Fund, Shaw Rocket Fund, COGECO, Bell Fund, Rogers Telefund and Ontario Creates OMDC. Maria has produced TV series, feature films, branded content, ad campaigns, and companion Interactive websites and games from concept through to delivery and distribution. Her debut series Now You Know was licensed to over 100 territories worldwide. Maria is a Youth Media Alliance board member.
