Liesl Ahlers is a South African Actress. She studied Acting for Film & TV in Canada at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts (VADA).Liesl was cast as Marina Mills in the Warner Bros feature film Friend Request, for which she received an award in Moscow. Liesl acted opposite William Hurt in BBC Two's The Challenger Disaster and portrayed the role of Zelda in the third season of South Africa's Emmy nominated series Sokhulu & Partners. Liesl portrays the role of Erin in Director Alastair Orr's latest thriller: Triggered. Liesl will also portray the lead in the sci-fi, psychological thriller: The Construct.Liesl wrote, produced and directed the South African Awareness film: Daylight, with the hopes of creating global awareness on the devastating amount of children who become orphans due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in South Africa.Daylight have received a total of 11 nominations and 6 wins.
