Kim Eveleth has had a deep commitment and passion for art all her life. Born in New York City, she began her formal art studies as a child at the Museum of Modern Art at that institution's request. She was chosen by Leonard Bernstein to draw during his Young People's Concerts televised by CBS. While still in elementary school, she won a city-wide mural contest and her design was painted as the centerpiece of a playground in Central Park.
