Jum Raoof was born on June 21, 1977 as Jum Uqdah Ra'Oof II in Atlanta, Georgia. Jum Raoof is the second of three children of Hertha Z. Raoof (Dental Assistant) and Jum U. Ra'Oof Sr. (owner of a real estate investment company). Jum is from the College park in Atlanta, Ga. He is of both African American and Native American descent. Known as Trill young Aire in music, he released several underground hits including "Watch dem Birds fly", "Rise and Shine", & "Olly Olly oxen free" which he recorded, co-wrote & co-produced.
