Jim Poole is an actor, director, voiceover artist, filmmaker and ensemble member of Steep Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. His best known performance is lending his voice to Scooter the Carrot in Big Idea's Christian computer generated imagery direct-to-video/direct-to-DVD series VeggieTales (1993). He formerly served as the artistic director of a large church in Chicago. A native of Chicago, Jim graduated from Wheaton College and has worked with a number of theatrical, improvisational and sketch comedy groups, directing and producing creative content. His brother, Garry Poole, is an award-winning author and evangelism coach at the Institute at Cherry Hills Community Church in Colorado.
