Isabelle Prim is a filmmaker born in 1984 in Paris, France. Beginning 2009 she received a two year stipend for The Fresnoy - National Studio of Contemporary Arts - where she shot "Mademoiselle Else", screened at the 63rd film festival of Locarno in 2010 and "La Rouge et la Noire" screened at the 62nd Berlinale International film festival of Berlin in 2012. She graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Grenoble (France), and of the theatrical conservatory, after what she worked as a student-researcher in the ninth Postgraduate session of the Ensba (Fine art school of Lyon, France). She also studied in the department of Experimental Media of the Universitat Der Kunste of Berlin, where she produced "Creamy Krimi", screened at the 58th Berlinale. She is also an actress and an editor. Her practice spans fiction experimental films, video installations and animated films. She had numerous presentations of her work in contemporary art spaces and international film festivals, as for the 63rd film festival of Locarno, the 58th and the 62nd Berlinale, at the Palais De Tokyo in Paris, etc.
