Everlayn "Ever" Borges is a Cuban-born, award-winning actress, dancer and singer. She began her career as principal dancer and soloist touring internationally with Julio Iglesias. Her motion picture debut was as Miss Cuba in the Michael Mann big screen adaptation of the hit series Miami Vice, starring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell. She appeared in Italian director Claudio Risi's film, Matrimonio alle Bahamas, Dostana, a Bollywood film directed by Tarun Mansukhani, HDNet Tv series Get Out, Showtime's Tv series Going to California, out of which she gained international acclaim for her comedic talent. Throughout her prolific career, Borges has performed in dozens of music videos for internationally known musicians as well as TV commercials featuring globally recognized brands. Borges is considered a highly versatile actress with a rare combination of captivating looks, intelligent insights, world-class physical agility and comedic flare. Her performances range from comedic sketches to thrillers to drama. Her presence is noteworthy and profound, much like the story of her own life.Everlayn's story began in Matanzas, Cuba, near the legendary Varadero Beach. Her popular musician father vanished at sea in an attempt to find freedom in the United States. After his disappearance, she was left with a legacy of talent as well as courage.Chosen at 9 years old to attend the prestigious National School of the Arts in Havana, Cuba, she excelled at classical ballet, contemporary and modern dance. At 17, while a member of an international dance troupe, she made her own escape from Castro's Cuba. Fleeing from a hotel in Mexico, her journey took her from Juarez to Texas, across the Rio Grande and finally to Miami.There is an undeniable presence about this Cuban born multi-faceted, award-winning actress-dancer-singer and now extreme sports athlete who was born of humble beginnings with enough ambition to reach the stars.Miami has since had a love affair with Everlayn. On stage in the tropical city, she played both Maria and Virgen Caridad in the hit musical, "Miami Libre," a production of the prestigious Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. She starred in the improv comedy, "Tony and Tina's Wedding," the regional production of the longest-running off-Broadway comedy in history directed by the show's co-creator, Larry Pelligrini. In 2015, she appeared in "Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding," directed by Tony Lauria at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Her performance as the loco manicurist Martika in the comedy, "Combing Through Life's Tangles," earned her a FREC award and made the character much-loved in Miami theater history.An entrepreneur as well as a performer, she is developing a number of projects as producer and CEO of her own production company, Buddha Belly Productions, LLC.Everlayn attended the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and continues to study there under Jay Goldenberg. She is currently working on her own reality Tv series "Ever On The Edge" and makes her home in Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
