Elvira Godeanu was born on May 13, 1904 in Romania. Elvira Godeanu's big-screen debut came with Verklungene Träume directed by Martin Berger in 1930. Deval, the lovely "Aimee", "Marianne" in "The Miser", and "Lotte" from "The Torments of Young Werther", "Cressida" from "Troilus and Cressida", "Camille", etc. The plays in which she performed throughout the years were directed by Ion Sahighian, Soare Z.Soare, Vasile Enescu. Her partners were Aura Buzescu, Cella Dima, Nicolae Brancomir, Al.Critico, Ion Manu, Marioara Voiculescu, R. Bulfinski, Sonia Cluceru, Aglae Metaxa, Silvia Dumitrescu-Timica and many more.
