Actress and singer Elena Juatco was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and is known for her role as Cale on the hit comedy series "JANN" (CTV/Hulu), where she plays the cut-throat manager of Canadian icon Jann Arden. Elena also appears as Jo Koy's sister Regina in Universal's comedy feature "Easter Sunday", the first studio feature film in history to center on a Filipino family. Other screen credits include the Emmy Award-winning series "Schitt's Creek", "Escape The Field" (Lionsgate), Guillermo del Toro's "Cabinet of Curiosities" (Netflix), "Hudson & Rex" (CityTV) and a series regular role on the medical drama "Open Heart" (YTV/Nickelodeon).Elena graduated from the Drama and Women's Studies programs at Queen's University. After placing 6th on "Canadian Idol" in its second season, she worked as an entertainment and roving reporter for "etalk" and "Canadian Idol" in 2006. Elena has played leading roles in stage musicals across Canada including Foreigner's "Jukebox Hero" at the Ed Mirvish Theatre, "Kinky Boots" at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, and Cameron Mackintosh's 25th anniversary production of "Les Misérables" at the Princess of Wales Theatre. She received a Jessie Award for her performance as Christine Colgate in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" at the Vancouver Playhouse and a Dora nomination for her performance in "Snow White and the Group of Seven" at the Elgin Theatre.Elena released an album of original music "Beyond This Line" in 2015.
