Bruna Louise is an actress and comedian from Paraná, in the South of Brazil, and is known for being one of the first Brazilian comedians to speak from the perspective of a woman in the stand-up comedy scene. Bruna started doing theater in her teens and used to say that she realized she had a knack for comedy when she tried to do drama and people laughed. The artist even made some plays early in her career, but soon realized her passion for stand-up comedy and focused on this type of performance. Her first stand-up show was called "Desbocada" and her second solo show is called "Deslocada". In 2020, she won MTV's MIAW award in the category 'Ri Alto' for Best Comedian. The comedian is part of the cast of the new Comedy Central show, ""A Culpa é da Carlota"", a new version of "A Culpa é do Cabral". From a humorous and sarcastic female perspective, the program also features Cris Wersom, Arianna Nutt, Carol Zoccoli and Dadá Coelho. In addition, Bruna also made her Netflix debut in 2019 with the comedy special "Lugar de Mulher", alongside Micheli Machado, Cintia Rosini and Carol Zoccoli. In 2021 Bruna participated in the reality show "LOL: Last One Laughing Brazil", on Amazon Prime Video.
